Her Diary

Jungkook's POV

Walking around the formerly crowded hallway of Melody High public school, now deserted with the exception of a couple of students here and there, I examine my surroundings, trying to find an object worth looking at.  Filling the walls were drawings by the art club.  From abstract paintings, to portraits, to 3D sketches.  Name any type of drawing, they were displayed here, for all to see.  My school is known for its art.  Not just art in general, but dancing, singing, and acting.  They were all considered 'art' in my school.

I myself am studying dancing and singing, in the hopes of finding a career that involve the two.  Lost in my thoughts, I am unable to notice a girl with luscious, cascading, dark haired locks run right into me.  Being the more muscular one of the two of us, I am able to avoid falling, but unfortunately for the girl- she did.

"Ow," she mutters quietly under her breath.  With concern laced on my expression, I offer her my hand, willing her to take it.  She accepts my offer, but ends up tripping on her own feet, causing her to meet the ground once again.  A small chuckle escapes from my mouth.

"I guess you like the floor?" I question jokingly.  At the sound of my voice, her ears turn red, realizing who she had bumped into.  She grabs all of her belongings, gives a little bow, a quiet whisper of "thank you," and off she went.

I sigh as I stare at her disappearing silhouette.  Everyone is always intimidated by me.  With my parents being the founder of this district, I have a lot of influence over other students.  My teachers love me, or that's how they seem to act like.  They really just wanted to treat the son of their bosses with respect so they don't end up losing their job.  The thing is that they're treating me too well.  Whenever I get in an occasional fight with a student here and there, I always get away with it.  In turn, most of the students here don't exactly fancy me.  Fortunately, I have found a good circle of friends that are always here for me.

Realizing that I spaced out once again, I walk towards the exit of the school- stopping when I sense a hard object under my left shoe.  Bending down to pick it up, I turn it over and realize it was a book of some sort.  It had no writing on the front.  It was only a thick, white, binded book with many pages.  This must be hers.  Curious to what was inside, I turn to the first page.

Park Chaeyoung.....  I've seen her in some of my classes.  She's quiet, but she's the exact opposite during vocal lessons. She sings with so much passion and emotion. Her voice is beautiful and so soothing to the point that I almost fell asleep once. I've heard her play the guitar as well. She's good. I know I shouldn't read on as it is her privacy after all, but it makes it even more tempting to do something when someone tells you not to. And so I flip to the next page.

Dear diary,
I write this in my bedroom, just after receiving you as a gift from father. He told me to write anything I want here. From what happened today, to how I felt, to secrets. He said no one will ever read this, only me. Just in case someone else other than me gets a hold of you, I have written a message on the front.

Chaeyoung~

A small smile forms on my face. I find it amusing how someone our age still keeps a diary. It's adorable. Not wanting anyone to question whatever I was doing, I make my way to the library, eager to keep her diary away from the eyes of other students.
