Peeps

Chaeyoung's POV

"Okay, who the heck put the peeps in the microwave?" I groan, suspiciously glancing at the twins from my peripheral version.

"It wasn't me!" The twins reply in unison, not tearing their eyes away from the video game they were currently playing.

I take out the plate from the microwave, sighing at the now enlarged peeps before me.  A pair of arms encircle my waist, and engulfs me in a back hug.  I tense at the sudden contact, but relax when I realize it was only my husband.

"Chae, what's for lunch?" Jungkook whispers, his breathe tickling my ear.

"Ooo, daddy's flirting with mommy!" Chan, the older of the twins, teases- which earned him a smack to the neck by his sister, who was now frowning.

"We're losing Chan, pay attention!" Hyesoo scolds Chan.  I giggle at the interaction, noting that Hyesoo got her competitiveness from her father.

"Looks like you passed that on, huh?" I ask Jungkook, smiling towards him.  He hums in response, breaking contact from me.  Jungkook frowns at the plate.

"That's where my peeps went!" He exclaims, making a grab for it.

"Not so fast." I intercept, raising an eyebrow at his direction, "did you put the peeps in the microwave?"

My husband scratches his neck sheepishly, an amused expression on his face, "Maybe?  I swear, I wasn't doing anything bad."

If it was even possible, my eyebrow rose even higher, and Jungkook sweat dropped.  "Okay, you got me.  Maybe I was doing it because I saw it on Youtube.  And maybe I wanted to see if it would actually work," He pauses glancing down at the plate, "and it did!"

A giggle escapes from my mouth, and Jungkook fakes an expression of offense, "You find this funny?  I am offended."

I smile, my giggles disappearing, "You're such a kid sometimes."

Jungkook grins, leaning forward to kiss me on the cheek, "But you love this kid."

I nod, my smile widening, "That I do."

"Eww, disgusting!" Chan interrupts with a high pitched voice, his attention once again leaving the screen; and thus, earning him another smack from his sister.
