Chaeyoung POV

Scooping rice from the rice dispenser, I freeze when I suddenly feel something wet trickle down my legs.  I look down, and see that it was water.  Great, my water broke.  This child of ours must really want to see the outside world since they're two weeks early. Unfortunately for me, my husband is at work- meaning I need to call both him and 911. Being pregnant is not fun, but apparently it's worth it according to Jennie, one of my close friends. She had a beautiful baby girl last year. I hope she's right.

I waddle over to the house phone, more water gushing out through my journey, and tap in a familiar number. It rings for a few seconds before the other end picks up.

"Is something wrong Chae?" A small smile forms on my face when I realize he was concerned. I still can't believe that I got so lucky to find a man like him. I had many unfortunate relationships with men before him, so it was hard to open up. Luckily, he was able to take down the walls I formed around my heart, and I'm thankful for that. I have no idea where I'd be today without him.

"Well, my water may or may have not broke," I say while wiping a drop of sweat from my forehead.

"Really?" He exclaims, "call 911 right now.  Are you in any pain?" He asks frantically.

"Nah, although water is everywhere on the floor." I say while examining the ground.

I hear him take a deep breathe on the other end, and I couldn't help but let a small giggle out.  "Okay, that should be normal, or at least that's what it said in those manuals," a pause, "Make sure to bring your phone, and keep in contact with me.  Call 911." He instructs me.

"Okay father," I joke, "I'll go now.  I love you." I say lovingly.

I can practically feel him grinning, "I love you too.  Text or call me the hospital name once you know." With that, I end the call.

Conveniently, my phone is on the kitchen counters, making my life easier as I didn't need to go upstairs.

I waddle over to the counters, a trail of water following me. Picking up the phone, I dial the emergency number.

"Hello mam, what's the emergency?" The operator asks me.

"My water just broke." I reply calmly.

"Okay, we'll get an ambulance there. What is your address?"

After informing them with the address, the operator proceeds to tell me that the hospital they're going to take me to is one called 'Silver Trinity.' It'll take the ambulance twenty minutes to get to where I am. I thank the operator, and then dial my husband yet again, but this time on my phone. He picks up at the first ring.

"It'll take the ambulance twenty minutes to get here, and the hospital is called Silver Trinity." I inform my husband before he could say anything.

I hear him curse on the other end. I frown, he rarely curses.

"What's wrong?" I ask, worried.

"That hospital is two hours away from here. I don't think I'll be there to see our child on he or she is born," he rambles, "there's also traffic, which makes it worse."
