After making sure that everyone was alright, Jennie led Jordan and Ash deep into the ruins, way past the section open to regular visitors. Once they reached a long hallway, Jennie sighed.
"This is as far as I can go, guys. You'll find what you're looking for at the end of this hallway, in the room that's guarded by these two big burly guys."
"Thanks, Jen." Jordan smiled as Jennie, before she started heading back to the surface.
"So, what exactly are we here to see? You never specified." Ash inquired, Vibrava hovering by his side.
"As I said back at the shop, I'm proving to you that magic exists. Now, let's get a move on. Rog is leaving in an hour, and he's our ride."

The hallway was long, and lit dimly by flickering flames held in sconces that were carved out of the wall. Markings littered the walls as well, but Ash wasn't focusing on them, as his eyes were glued to Jordan's oddly bare back, taking note of the various small scratches that were scattered along the stretch of skin, and Ash immediately felt guilt swirl in his stomach as he was the cause of all the cuts. Ash was only brought out of this guilt infested trance when Jordan turned around to look at him.
"Right, are you ready?"
"W-what?"
"To see your first magical object, silly. That's why we're here after all."
"O-oh, right." Jordan smiled and turned again, before showing some sort of ID card to one of the men outside of the door in front of them that were dressed in militarist uniforms, before the other opened the door and they both stepped aside.
