It was late. Nearly midnight now. But Ash was too alert to sleep. He was just about to turn off his laptop and go to sleep when he received a rather disturbing email. It was from an unknown sender, as if the email address it came from didn't exist, and simply read one line:
"We're coming for you, and we will get what we want, no matter what you do."
It had Ash freaked out and unable to sleep, so instead he was now looking at the Council of Grim's website, looking for any information he could get on them. There was no doubt in his mind that the email had come from them, but he didn't know what on Earth they could possibly want. So he was scrolling through page after page, his eyes stinging from the bright light of his computer screen in his otherwise pitch black bedroom.
It only took a few minutes for Ash to find himself on a new page, one detailing the Council's "missions" accompanied by a picture of their Suzerain. However, she wasn't wearing the veil from the other picture, so Ash clearly saw her face, and he gasped.
"This is...no way..." There was a crashing of glass breaking, but by the time Ash turned around his head was covered by some sort of bag.
The next morning, Jordan waited and waited for Ash to come into work, her patience being tested further and further as the day wore on. Finally, at around noon, she stormed out of the shop and headed to Gemini Town, hoping Ash had a good reason for being so late to work.
And she was not disappointed, as when she reached the small town, posters of Ash's face were everywhere, and his heartbroken parents were walking around asking everyone they saw if they had seen Ashworth after midnight last night, as he had gone missing. Jordan even heard the mention of a struggle breaking out in Ash's room before he was taken, which was what made her eyes widen before she ran back to Pisces City, on a mission.
