~Alex's POV~

"Sup? I'm Hercules Mulligan! You can call me Herc." A tall muscular man shook my hand.

"And you must be Lafayette?" I asked, gesturing towards the tall slim man with poofy hair, like John's, behind Herc. He kinda looked like the man who laughed at me for getting lost earlier.

He nodded. "Oui, mon ami, c'est moi." I gasped.

"Tu parle français? Moi aussi! C'est ma première langue. J'aime ça. Nous serons de grands amis!" I replied to my new friend.

"Je suis d'accord! Je suis très excité! Personne ici ne parle couramment français." He exclaimed.

"Hey, some of us aren't fluent in French over here!" John said, waving.

"Oh sorry guys!" I apologized. "It won't happen again." I turned to Laf.

"Mais bien sûr ce n'est pas vrai." I whispered to Laf. He laughed. "Oui."

John led me to a table and the others followed. John pulled out a chair for me and I blushed. God, I need to stop doing that. I sat down.

"Why, thank you good sir." I joked.

"Always, Mister Hamilton." We all laughed. I blushed again. Hercules and Laf gave eachother a suspicious look. Uh oh. The rest of the group sat down. We all took some chicken, broccoli, and mashed potato from the bowls on the middle of the table and put it on our plates. John really went all out.

*Time skip brought to you by me not wanting to write their entire conversation*

"It was nice to meet you guys!" I yelled into the hallway.

"You too Alexander!" I heard Herc call out.

"Oh wait come back!" I yelled down the hallway. Laf and Herc ran down the hall back to the doorway of my dorm. "I never got your phone numbers" I laughed.

"You could've asked John, but okay mon ami." Laf said, pretending to be annoyed.

I put their numbers in my phone and they added me to a group chat. "Okay, bye for real." I giggled and they left.

I turned around and looked at the time on the cable box of the TV.

     9:26pm

"Damn, did we really talk that long?" I asked John.

"I guess so." John laughed. I started walking toward my room."Goodnight Alexander."

"Goodnight John." I decided not to hug him. 'We just met' I reminded myself. I pulled out my phone. There was a weather alert.

     Uh oh. A thunderstorm.

I started to take deep breaths once I saw John was too far away to hear or see me.

It's only a thunderstorm. Not a hurricane. You will live. John will live. Everyone will be okay.

That's what you said last time, eveverything wasn't okay.

I started breathing heavier. I calmed myself down by hugging a lion stuffed animal that I pulled out of my backpack. My breathing went back to normal. I fell asleep after a few minutes.

     It's going to be alright.
