Junior year
Harry is sitting atop his kitchen counter with Louis between his legs. Louis' head is resting in the crook of Harry's neck, extremely tired do to the lack of sleep the night before.
He didn't know why, he just couldn't sleep till around four in the morning.
"Do you want to go take a nap in my room?" Harry asks Louis. The only rule Anne and Robin had for when Louis was over was that the door couldn't be locked, other than that the two boys had leeway.
"Mm no." Louis mumbles and wraps his arms around Harry's waist to pull him closer to the edge. He turns his head a bit, Harry offering him a strawberry. Louis takes a bite, before Harry's pulling the fruit away as Louis chewed.
"You sure? Don't slobber on my shirt it's white." Harry says softly and kisses the top of Louis' head. Louis grins, burrowing his head back into Harry's neck.
"Boys? I'm heading out alright? Robin should be home around three thirty." She tells them and Harry tells her he loves her and she returns the saying while blowing him a kiss. Louis half heartedly waves with a grunt.
They're quiet for a while, Harry just scrolling through his phone when Louis finally speaks.
"Why don't you ever text me first?" Louis asks before quickly adding on. "Not that I'm complaining, I'm just wondering why."
"I just... don't want to bother you. If you text me then I know that you want to talk to me." Harry answers. Louis lifts his head.
"You never bother me Harry. I love your company, I love your texts and the cute emojis you use. Don't ever think you're bothering me. You're the highlight of my day." Louis tells him. Harry's cheeks pink, looking down at Louis' lips till Louis leans upwards before kissing Harry softly.
"You're my favorite person Harry." Louis whispers into his neck.
"You're mine too."
