Chapter 27 - Brother and Best Friend (edited)

Young Ji POV
I woke up to unfamiliar faces around me and my adopted family. I was really scared. Why are they all looking at me with concern when I don't even know them. Then I saw someone that I love so much. I missed him so much even though it was only a day without him.
"Chanyeol oppa! You came back for me already!?! It was only a day!" I then frowned with fear in my eyes, "Chanyeol oppa, are these your guests? This man and woman are my adopted parents and this is their son Jong Suk. I can't call him oppa yet because it feels weird. I just can't." I then pointed at all the unfamiliar faces and said, "but these are your guests right? Who are they?"
A girl that had her hair in a ponytail asked, "Are you playing with us? If you are, it's not funny Park Young Ji." I looked around scared. Then all of a sudden a sharp pain hit me hard in the head and I screamed so hard.
"It's okay Young Ji, it's okay, oppa is right here," chanyeol oppa tried to calm me down but the pain continue and the next thing I know it become black. Suddenly small pieces of someone's memories appeared in my head. All those people that I saw a minute ago. They came back to me. I opened my eyes slowly.
"Young Ji-ah you're finally awake. They said if you didn't wake up soon you would have gotten brain dead. Are you okay?" Chanyeol oppa said with concern.
"O-oppa?" I said my throat raspy.
"I finally found you," tears were in his eyes, "I'll help you up. You need water. Here." He made the bed in sitting formation and helped me drink water.
"What do you mean wake up any sooner? I was only knocked out for a few minutes.."
"Young Ji-ah, you collapsed on us a week ago. Ah, maja. Do you remember any of your friends?"
"Of course I do. Why? Did I forget them?"
"O" he said while opening the door to my room, "I'll be right back. I'll call the doctor and have you get examined and I'll call your family and friends. They would be glad to hear the news that you remember them all." Chanyeol oppa left.
Some one opened the door.
"Shi woo- Min Suk...."
"Young Ji-ah are you okay?" He asked with eyes full of worry and sadness.
"I'm fine Min Suk-ah. Why are you here?"
"He technically saved your life" a voice said and that person came in. Seul Bi
"What do you mean?" I asked confuse. I realize I knew nothing after I got knocked out by Eun Bi.
"They came to me when they took you at the mall that day. They knew they would be at our hangout place and wanted the key and I went with them. Then Seul Bi called the ambulance because we saw you get knocked out when we opened the door," he explained and turn to Seul Bi and said, "umm I guess you saved her haha... umm can you let me talk to her... privately." She left.
"I'm glad you're okay. I thought she wouldn't harm you after I broke up with her.."
"Wait, was I the reason that you broke up with her?"
"A tiny part yeah... but don't misunderstand. I don't like her anymore. She doesn't deserve my love if she doesn't love my best friend." giving me a small smile.
"We stopped being friends a long time ago Min Suk-ah...." I said slowly and sadly.
"Can we be friends again?" He ask full of hope in his eyes.
I smiled and reach out my hands, "Hi! My name is Park Young Ji. You look like my imaginary friend Shi Woo! Let's be friends!"
He smiled back and took my hand, "Hi! My name is Kim Min Suk. But you can call me Shi Woo if you want because you are now my friend!" He then pulled me into a big hug. When we break from the hug, I frowned.
"What? Does it hurt? Oh my gosh I'm so sorry," he said fast and in one breath.
"Yah! You didn't say 'but you can call me Shi Woo if you want because you are now my friend', you said "you're now my friend so you can call me Shi Woo anytime!"
"Seriously? How can you remember that? That was such a long time ago. And I'm pretty sure I would know what I said cause I was the one that said it," he said with his playful tone.
I suddenly yank my pillow and hit him.
"Oh you shouldn't have done that Youngie!" He then began his tickle attack. I'm glad my best friend is back.
