*2 Months Later*
"Gabe, Gabe you there." Kate giggled waving her hand in front of my face. I smiled and picked her up and spun her around. She wrapped her legs around my waist.
"What were you thinking about?" She asked her gray eyes looking into mine with curiosity.
"You." I said simply. She looked down and blushed. I lifted her chin up with my index finger and looked at her.
"Your so cute when you blush." Which caused her to blush even more. I chuckled lightly. Then I closed the space between us. It was like we were puzzles pieces and together we completed the puzzle. And that's what it felt like now that I have Kate I finally felt complete. I finally felt happy with her right here. I felt like nothing could stop us. We walked hand in hand home. Older couples looking at us in awe as they whispered "Young love' and "brings back memories" And to be honest it made me smile. Kate is the light to my life and she definitely lights it up.
"Kate?"
"Yeah?"
"I want you too meet some people." Her eyes lit up like a child on Christmas morning.
"Really, who?"
"My mom and my sister."
''When we first met you said you haven't seen them since you were like 10. How did you get a hold of them?''
''I found my moms job and called them asking them to tell me her number. I got angry, but I got the number and when I was out at lunch a couple weeks ago. I was with them.''
"Oh my gosh Gabe really." She squealed in excitement. I laughed.
"Yeah, but I want give you something first." I unclasped the chain around my neck that held the boxing gloves pendent. She saw it and shook her head.
"No,Gabe I can't that's yours." I shook my head ignoring her protest.
"You can and you will." I went around her while she sighed and lifted her hair up as I clasped the chain around her neck. She turned around and faced me.
''You know I care about you right? I'm always going to be here.'' I asked her. She smiled at me her gray eyes lighting up. She pecked my lips.
''Of course.''
"Let's go." I turned around to walk away when she hopped on my back. I caught her legs as she wrapped them around my waist and her arms around my neck. She pecked my cheek. And whispered.
"Lets go to Narnia, love." She giggled and I chuckled.
Kate p.o.v
I wrapped my arms around his neck and stared up at the blue sky. The white clouds that looked like fluffy white plush pillows were scattered all across the blue sky. I kept making random animal noises in his ear to make him laugh. We walked to Gabe's house. We got weird stares, but I didn't care. Once we got to my house Gabe dropped me on my bed and laid next to me. Gabe's thumb caressed the scars on my wrist. I looked away ashamed.
"Quit, their ugly." I looked down.
"No, their not they are proof of what a strong, beautiful girl like you had to go through." I smiled a small smile not saying anything.
"I can tell you haven't done it in awhile, what made you stop?" He asked me looking adorable. He cocked his head to the side.
"You.'' Was all I said. He looked confused.
''Why me?''
''I feel so protected around you. You saved me. You keep my mind occupied and not stuck in memories of all the bad I've been through." His face softened.
