If only the stars had come out in the day,
If only I knew what to say.I used to be carefree.
I used to be the girl who did and tried everything.
But, now...
I am a shell.I miss a life I have long ago left behind.
A life of laughing and hugging.
Singing and talking.I remember a time of drinking Brutal Fruit
In my best friends house.
I remember,
Us talking about boys and...I remember that last day,
Of pizza.Truthfully, friend...
I miss the times we would spend. We used to have sleepovers...
You remember that mattress I always slept on?I remember...
Saturday mornings laughing and braaing.I still can do my twenty-five times tables.
I remember...
Mornings talking about God in front of our class. And friend,
I remember our song.I used to have it on repeat.
Stranger with a past...
I find myself being last.
You lost yourself so fast.Yet, you still see it...
Yourself. How I do wish I could experience it all
All over again..19/03/2017
