What and why

WHAT do I wanna be when I get older? Well, I wanna be an astrophysicist. WHY do I wanna be an astrophysicist? Hmmm... when you look up at the sky, what do you see..? I bet you just see stars, small dots in the sky and don't even take a second glance. I see something more complex, I see a story. When I look up at the sky I see a story, poetry, skits, history, a piece of music, a play, a movie, a memory. I see how ancients lived, how they thought, kept track of historical events. How they entertained others, shared thoughts. I see a process of life and death, a beginning and an ending. How science can change the world, how you can look up at the sky and never be alone anymore. There is so much to see but it's so far away. It's like getting a birthday cake and tasting how good it is, you just wanna share it with others. But sometimes I don't wanna share because it can be all mine but I want others to see what I see.

So, WHAT do I wanna be? An astrophysicist. WHY do I wanna be an astrophysicist?
