its funny being me

It's funny being me. If you stepped in my shoes it would be different, not just like your life it would be different. It's funny being me, being a dyslexic reader and writer. Being a descriptive writer and reading books day and night, losing sleep and bags forming under my eyes permanently from the world's I walk. Being dyslexic is strange, people around you read normally when you see nothing but the white page as the words disappear into fantasy.
It's funny being me, someone who sits at home and thinks, 'when will I go home?' I don't mean this in a suicidal way, no no. I mean I sit in my room and just don't feel at home, like this isn't where I'm meant to be. Like I'm meant for more, like I'm here to be somewhere else, I was made to be different and change something.
It's funny being me, a girl that just doesn't fit in. I'm more of a tomboy than a girly girl but I rather hang with boys than girls sometimes. I mean yeah I have a best girl friend but I have many more guy friends. I don't know, it's hard to get out.
It's funny being me, someone who has auditory processing disorder. I don't always understand how people speak, like I don't understand the question. Like it can be so simple but I won't understand, I'll be so confused. It's hard.
