I stood there, shocked, as he kissed me before stepping back, awkwardly rubbing his neck.
"Ah, sorry... about that..." he says. I opened my mouth to speak, but someone came rushing into the room.
"Sammy, you need to come with me, now" Mel said, eyes wide. I frowned but followed her. "They're leaving now" she tells me as we rush down the hall. I could hear Fletcher following us. Mel had no idea what she just interrupted.
"Gracie! You were going to leave without saying goodbye?!" I say and pull her into a hug.
"No! I sent Mel to find you!" she said defensively. "I'll call you tomorrow, okay?" she says and stepped back.
"Yes! I want to know how beautiful France is" I say sternly.
"I'll call and tell you. Promise" she says, grinning. She went to say goodbye to Fletcher, and I joined Tom and the guys, sighing as I listened to their conversation before Tom and Gracie left in a white limo. We waved as the sped away from the curb and down the street. Everyone went back inside, and I tried looking for Fletcher, but couldn't find him.
"He left when Tom and Gracie did" Dylan said to me. I spun to look at him.
"Oh. Okay" I nodded. He sighed.
"Come on, me and Jay are heading out" he says. I nod and walk with him to the lobby of the hotel, where Jay was waiting for us. The three of us caught a cab back to their place, where I just crashed for the night on the couch, like usual.
"Sammy, Gracie's on the phone!" Dylan called. I left my room and took it from his forcefully.
"Gracie Jessica Dell! It's been three days! Three days! You were meant to call me as soon as you got there!" I shouted into the phone, but couldn't help the smile on my face.
"Sammy I'm pregnant!" she shouted happily. I squealed into the phone loudly, making Dylan and Jay block their ears. Sissies.
"Gracie that's amazing!" I exclaim. "You've got a room for a child in your new house, right?" I ask, smirking when she gasped.
"Wha- how- huh?" she stuttered.
"Gracie, I saw the pamphlets on the bench last week" I said to her. "I'm glad you're moving out. I don't think I could deal with living with a married couple" I rolled my eyes, smiling.
"Gee, thanks Sammy. Love you too" she muttered amusingly. "Thanks, though" she said. "You're first on our list for the New Years party" she says, and I could just feel her grinning.
"I didn't think I needed to be on the list!" I exclaimed, and she laughed.
"Of course not. You're invited anyway" she said, laughing.
"Good" I say finally. "I should let you go. I'll see you in a few days" I say. We say goodbye and I hung up the phone.
"Pizza, anyone?" Jay offered from the couch. I grinned and nodded, throwing him the phone to order.
