EMISON: Guilt

Scared Shouts

"Layla, Layla!!! Seriously will you just listen to me" Smily shouted basically chasing Layla inside her house.

"Emily why are you yelling?" Pam says as she heard Emily walk in the house with Layla.
"And where were you?" She asked

"With Alison! " Layla said and quickly went up stairs into Emily room.

Emily and Pam watched Layla job upstairs and then looked at each other.
"Alison house I see" Pam said as she walked towards the kitchen to start making food.

"Why is that such a problem?" Emily asked.
"I didn't say it was" Pam responded .
"Oh really? Then why do you ask so sarcastically? And why does it even matter if I was in Alison house ?" Emily responded defensively.

"Emmy I'm not trying to start and argument relax" Pam responded calmly.

Emily was frustrated but realized she was defensive for one reason and one reason only. Because there was a huge reason Emily didn't come home the night before.

"I know you love Layla, but you loved Alison at a time too. And Layla trusts you but put yourself in her shoes. She comes home to surprise you and you aren't here so she desperately looks for you and finds you in the house of a girl you once loved" Pam explained trying not to make it seem as she was getting Emily in trouble.

Emily quickly felt the guilt rush Into her body. Layla had every reason to be upset. More than she actually knew.

Emily walked up towards her room where she found Layla sitting on the seat by her window.

Emily took a deep breath before sitting next to her.

"I know your upset and you have every right to be" Emily explained.
Layla quickly turned to see into Emily eyes and noticed the watery eyes Emily held. She believed it was because Emily was sorry but clearly she did not know it was because Emily had done something she never thought she would do.

"No Em I am sorry, I over reacted I was just so scared and I just wanted to make sure you where ok and then I just see you with her in that house and I just..." Layla said before Emily interrupted.

"Come here" Emily said and wrapped her arms around Layla.
Layla kissed Emily then laid her head on Emily.
Emily stared forward she couldn't help but think about what happened the night before.

All she could think of was Alison in her arms. Alison lips on hers. Emily lips on Alison body.

"I made some food if you girls want some" Pam interrupted their hug.

"We will be down in a few thanks Pam " Layla answered.

Pam smiled at Emily glad to see that her and her girlfriend where okay.

Layla got up and opened her hand for Emily to grab and follow her to the kitchen however Emily insisted Layla would go down first.
"Go ahead babe Ill be down in a bit" Emily said.
Layla smiled and gave Emily a kiss.
Emily gave back a small smile and watched Layla walk out the room.
When Layla was out Emily grabbed the package Alison gave her. She suspected it was a package for Alison that Alison just grabbed in order to make her lie believable.

Once she opened it she realized it was a job offer for swim coaching in rosewood. The package contained a letter from the Rosewood principal offering Emily a job. Rosewood high was desperate for a good coach and Alison obviously put in a good word for Emily taking advantage that Emily was in town.

Emily was confused by it. She didn't know why Alison didn't tell her before. She stuffed the papers back in the package and walked down towards the kitchen.

Hey guys this was one of those "ugh" chapters even me writing about Layla and Emily is a bother lol but it's part of the story.
