Couples Date Part 2

Emily and Layla where the forth to walk in the restaurant Hanna had reserved.
Of course Ezra and Aria matching in Blue.
Hanna and Caleb next to them, and Toby and Spencer there as well.

They all smiled as they saw both girls walk in.
Emily introduced Layla to The boys since she did not get a chance before.

"Well I'm starving but we can't order until queen of Rosewood gets here" Hanna said sarcastically. Everyone giggled expect Emily and Layla. Layla didn't because she had no clue what Hanna meant by that but Emily quickly knew what she meant.

"Alison is coming ?" Emily asked.
Then Layla also put an interested face.
"Yup" Hanna responded.

"This is a couples dinner isint it?" Layla asked.
"Apparently she has one" Hanna responded.

Quickly Emily asked "Alison has a date?!!!".

"Yeah" Hanna responded confused by Emily curiosity.
"Good" Layla said then taking a sip of her wine.
"Speaking of the devil" Aria said looking towards the entrance of the door.
Everyone turned towards that direction and saw Alison walk in in a beautiful black formalish dress with her hair curled and perfectly done make up. She looked like the perfectly created girl in high school.

Emily breath was taken away. The steps Alison would take seemed to go by in slow motion as if her hair was floating in the air after air being blown at her. But that slowly stopped when Alison date was spotted to.

"Hey" Alison said.

Everyone responded.
"This is Mark, he's a old colleague of mine" Alison introduced Mark.
"Hey everyone" mark politely said.

Mark pulled Alison chair out before sitting down and Alison caught Emily string right at her but couldn't catch on to what Emily was feeling.
Emily on the other hand was speechless by the way Alison looked that night but at the same
Time confused and bothered by Alison showing up and most especially with a date.

"So Mark you sure are the mistery man, what do you work in?" Hanna asked.
"Well I actually started college to be a teacher that's how Alison and I met but then I realized that was not my profesión exactly so I got more into writhing and literature based of psychology you can say" Mark responded.

"Your one of my kind" Ezra shouted. The guys seemed to really enjoy Mark company. He was a smart man. He majored in the same thing as Ezra, worked in construction while being in college like Toby, and enjoyed the same music Caleb did. Even the girls loved Mark charm. Emily in the other hand was bothered by his presence not because of him as a person, simply because he was Alison date.

Everyone talked about meeting each other and what they did during the good old high school days. Mark was funny, he shared his experiences and had the whole table laughing. However once the clock hit 7 Mark had to leave to a book publish event and Alison walked him out.

Emily excused herself from the table to use the restroom. At the same time Emily came out of the restroom Alison walked back into the restaurant bumping into Emily .

"He was nice" Emily said sarcastically.
"He's a friend em" Alison responded knowing exactly what Emily was feeling .
"It doesn't matter Ali he can be whatever you please" Emily Argued.
Alison just rolled her eyes she didn't buy anything Emily said.

"Anyway what did you think of the offer?" Alison asked.
"It's great but why didn't you tell me before?" Emily asked.
"I was. I talked to the principle once he asked me if I knew of anyone, I immediately thought of you and the offer was amazing I got the package and his letter however I saw you at the mall looking at rings and just assumed it was a waist of time to even ask" Alison said sadly.

"You say it like looking for rings is a bad thing"Emily said.

"You say it like you expect me to be happy over it" Alison replied.

"Ali! You came with a date!!!" Emily responded in a high tone.
"You slept with me last night! And now you are here with her like nothing happened! And that's ok you can pretend and propose and do what you want but you can't deny that you came to my house because you still have feelings for me Em" Alison defended herself. She was broken.

Emily came into her house giving her a night making her feel important and the next she's gone on a date with another girl. Alison was hurt. She loved Emily with every living cell in her body. But she was aware she stepped into a place that did not belong to her.
