"Emily what time are we suppose to be there? " Layla asks.
Emily glances at her phone. "Um now, wow you look gorgeous" she says.
Layla smiles and thanks Emily . "Ready?" She asks
"After you beautiful" Emily responds.
Finally they arrive to Aria house.
"Omg em!" Aria yells as she opens the door then hugs Emily.
"Oh hey Layla" she also hugs Layla.
With excitement Spencer does the same but the happiest of all was Hanna.
In the moment all the girls where catching up a voice behind them "am I late?" .
The girls turn around and see the beautiful blond in a navy blue dress.
She smiles sticking out her dimples.
"Welcome home Em" Alison says.
Emily heart filled up with joy the second she saw Alison. She smiled so big and leaned in for a hug.
As Alison head is on Emily shoulder she notices the beautiful Bruner behind Emily.
"We haven't had the chance to meet yet, you must be Emily girlfriend" Alison expands her hand to shake Layla hand.
Layla smiles and responds "yes, I'm sorry what's your name?"
"Ali... Alison" Emily responds proudly.
"Ah yes the unique English teacher"
Alison raises up her eyes brows a bit confused.
" I told Layla you where an English teacher and you where unique" Emily says awkwardly.
"Well, I'm glad you haven't forgotten about me em" Alison teases.
The girls all sit down for the pasta dinner Aria had prepared for them.
"I'm sure the girls already know but I'm curious, how did you meet?" Alison asks Emily and Layla.
"Oh we actually met in college, Emily was dating my co worker Paige and I stole her from her" Layla laughs.
"Not true!" Emily giggles. "Paige and her worked together however never where friends and I use to visit Paige at work back then and when Paige quit I got her old job and well fell Inlove with Layla" she smiles and grabs Layla hand.
Layla blushes and asks Aria about Ezra.
"Um me and Ezra are good just he's in a book tour but I believe he's gonna be here for Hanna event." Aria responds.
"And lucky for me Toby will be off that day too" said Spencer.
"Omg I can't wait to see him" Emily says.
"So what about you Alison, you have a boyfriend too or ?" Layla asks Alison.
Alison face turns a but serious.
"Um no... I'm actually divorced.. And well single for about a year already" Allison responds.
Layla shakes her head a bit surprised.
"Well your gorgeous so I'm sure one day the love of your life will come and sweep you off your feet and actually stay forever" Layla responds.
Alison looks at Emily "I hope so" .
Emily smiled at Alison not realizing the thoughts in Alison mind at the moment.
"Well I actually have to head out I have the last day of school tomorrow" Alison says.
"It was an honor finally meeting you Layla, your a lucky girl".
"I'll walk you out", Emily says.
Emily and Alison walk a out side if Aria house.
"I'm really glad I got to see you em I missed you so much" Alison said.
"Me too, are you going to Hanna event?" Emily asked.
"I'm not sure" Alison says with a smile.
"You should, I don't get to see you guys often" Emily says.
Alison grabs Emily hand with both her hands.
"I'll try my best" she said.
Emily watched Alison walk towards her car and smiled.
She cared for Alison very much. When they where in high school Emily was always her protector. It was her duty to make sure Alison had a smile in her face.
