Layla hears foot steps and heavy breathing.
"Ok love, that's the last bag.. I think we are set" Emily says.
"Ok let's go we have to be at the airport an hour ahead " Layla tells Emily.
Emily grabs the door for Layla and walks with her out to the car.
5 hours later Emily and Layla arrived to the nearest airport by rosewood.
"I see her!" Emily jumps of excitement as she points to her mother waiting for Layla and her.
"Oh Emmy!" Pam Fields says as she hugs her daughter tight.
"Oh and how I love to see my other daughter Layla" she opens her arms toward Layla.
"Pam you seriously always look so good" Layla compliments Pam.
"Such a sweet girl, alright let's go girls "Pam says as she grabs one of the bags to help Emily and Layla.
They where in the car as Pam asked how the flight was.
"I honestly didn't feel it as much as last time" Layla said.
"Me either actually" Emily agreed.
"Oh good the last time I went to California that flight felt eternal... Em have you called the girls?" Pam asked.
"I texted Aria when we landed, I believe she's making a dinner for all of us tomorrow night so I will see them then" Emily said.
"That's good, it's amazing, but the girls seem to have all followed there dreams, most especially Hanna" Pam said.
"She has talent Pam, I honestly love the samples dresses in her last model walk" Layla said.
"I have to admit the one I did not expect was Alison." Pam said.
"What is Alison doing now?" Layla asked curious.
"Uh I believe a teacher" Emily responded a bit down.
"Why is that surprising ? Was she like super dumb in highschool and now she's this teacher ?" Layla laughs.
Pam looks at Emily noticing Emily reaction to Alison name even being mentioned.
"No, Alison was ... Is very smart. It's just surprising because she was always more... Unique" Emily responded.
"Ugh finally" Layla mentions as she realizes they arrived to Emily house.
"Well I'm feeling a bit sweaty I'm gonna take a quick shower " Layla says.
"Ok I'll meet you up in a few" Emily tells her.
Emily and Pam started to pick up the plates from dinner.
"Emily" Pam says.
"Mother" Emily responds.
"The way you look at Layla makes me happy" Pam says.
"Mom you know I'm crazy about her, it's been 2 wonderful years" Emily smiles.
"And you don't think it's time " Pam teases.
"Time?" Emily asks confused.
"You know to take that next step" Pam responds.
"Are you asking when I'll propose to Layla?" Emily wonders.
Pam smiles at her moving her head up and down signaling yes.
"I love her to death mom you never know " Emily responds and walks to the sink.
