Back at Jaejoong's office...

Yuki was not seated at her secretary desk outside his office.

Jaejoong's thoughts: Hmm... Maybe she really took my word and resigned?

Jaejoong walked into his office and saw Yuki standing at his table arranging his things. He walked in casually and sat down at his desk.

Yuki: Morning Jaejoong!!!! How are you feeling today? Better?

Jaejoong: What do you mean? I've never felt better in my life...

Yuki: So you're back to normal now? I assume...

Jaejoong: Huh? I've always been normal..

Yuki: I meant...

Yuki leaned closer to Jaejoong, sitting on the arm rest of his chair, and whispering into his ear.

Yuki: You've finally thought it through... And you realised that Jaein is not worthy enough for you... And I'm still the one you love more...

Jaejoong got up from his chair abruptly, throwing Yuki off balance and struggling to stand up straight.

Jaejoong (sternly): I think you are mistaken... JAEIN IS the one I love... NOT YOU... If there is nothing else... Can you please hand in your resignation letter to HR soon? I don't want to fire you, but I have no desire to see you in my company anymore... If you may, please get out of my office now...

Yuki (angrily): KIM JAEJOONG!!! I SWEAR YOU ARE GOING TO REGRET TREATING ME THIS WAY!!!

Jaejoong (calmly): I do not wish to argue with you any further... I will not regret my decision for choosing Jaein... She is the one for me now, and in the future too... I'm going to marry her...

Yuki (sinisterly): HA HA HA HA... FUTURE? YOU THINK I AM GOING TO LET THE TWO OF YOU OFF SO EASILY???!!! YOU'LL PAY FOR YOUR DECISION TODAY!!! YOU JUST WATCH WHAT I AM GOING TO DO TO THE BOTH OF YOU!!!

Yuki stormed out Jaejoong's room angrily, slamming the door behind her. He could hear her packing her things noisily outside his room before her high heels stormed away.

Jaejoong's thoughts (relieved): At last... With Yuki gone... No one to sabotage our relationship... I don't want Yuki around as she might remind Jaein what happened that night... And I don't want Jaein to get hurt again... She's already been through too much... I just want all the best things for her from now on...

For the next few weeks, Jaejoong was busy planning for the wedding. Jaein had to finish up her pending cases on hand, so that she could be able to work normal working hours after her marriage. Thus, Jaejoong took on the majority of the planning work. 

Jaein had already met up with his parents, and he had already announced to them about their wedding plans. Of course his parents were shocked at first, since they had always seemed to be at loggerheads with each other in the house. But they were happy to see them together, since it would mean that Jaein would be staying in the Kim household for good. Even though she didn't stay in the same house as them, they had promised to return home every alternate day to visit.

Jaein was getting off work, and she was going to go home to rest early so that she would be fresh the next day for the wedding.
