I was currently in the kitchen of the boys flat making myself a well deserved cup of tea after the awkward encounter with Blair when my phone started blowing up. I ignored it for a few minutes as I finished brewing my tea but eventually it got on my last nerve. I unlocked my phone and noticed too many notifications for my liking. I clicked into one of the mentions and came across a picture posted on the boys Twitter account. It was a picture of Rye and I from when we were sleeping this morning. A wave of panic coursed through me. I grabbed me phone and made my way into the living room.

'Which one of you idiots posted this picture' I said, while holding my phone out in front of me
They all looked up from whatever is was they were doing and focused all their attention on me. Brooklyn slowly got up and tried to walk passed me into the hall.
"Brooklyn" I said, a tone of warning in my voice.
"Yes?" He replied meekly. I couldn't help but crack a small smile at the frightened look on his face, the rest of the boys were trying hard not to laugh.

"Is it really such a bad thing, I mean nobody confirmed that we were dating yet and at least this gives us the chance to test the waters and see how the roadies will react before we announce it" Rye said as he pulled me onto his lap on the sofa. Trust him to make light of every situation. I turned to face him and smiled as I looked into his eyes. I could see pure adoration and hoped that he could see the same for him in my eyes.

"Uh sky-skylar" I heard from behind me.

"Yes Brooklyn", I said without breaking eye contact with Rye.

"Can I sit down now" he asked, sounding like a scared little child.
At Brooklyn's question, everyone in the room started laughing as he sat down with a pout on his face. I flashed him a smile to show that I wasn't going to kill him anytime soon and at that he seemed to lighted up a bit. I turned back around, still sat on Ryes lap.

"I think we should tell them later" I whisper.

"Are you sure, I mean I want to, trust me I want nothing more than for everyone to know what you're mine but there will be people that don't like us together, and they will say things and I don't want you to get hurt"

"It's okay Rye, it takes a lot more than fangirls to bring me down, I'll be okay, all that matters is that I have you" I replied, while smiling up at him.

He kissed me softly on the lips before pushing me off the couch.
"RYE!" I screamed while bent over in a fit of giggles. "Why did you do that?!" I exclaimed.

He sat there with a smirk on his face as he looked at me sitting on the floor with a pout on my face, "I don't know, just felt like it" he said smugly.
I remained in the floor, my arms crossed in protest until pepper strolled over to me and sat down in between my crossed legs. 'At least pepper loves me' I stated while cuddling into her. I heard Rye mutter something under his breath but I didn't question it, if he wanted me to hear it he would have said it louder.
A few minutes later, Blair walked into the room, he stepped over me without even questioning the fact that I was perched on the floor, my face red from laughter.

"Right there's the deal, I've seen the tweet and I've been looking through the replies and I feel as though the sooner you announce the truth, the better. There will be some haters but in order to try keep the hate to a minimum I feel like it should be announced sooner, that way they can't accuse you two of hiding the truth for too long. Also! Tomorrow at noon I've booked for you boys to film a cover down at the beach, skylar you are more than welcome to join us, the cover shouldn't take too long and you guys can spend the rest if the day however you want" Everyone whooped and cheered as I got up and made my way out to the kitchen to resume making myself a cup of tea, I felt anxious about telling the roadies but also excited to start this new chapter of my life.
