I fell asleep with a smile on my face last night, that's something I could definately get used to! And for the first time in months I didn't stay up half the night letting my mind wander to the darkest thoughts in my head, instead I imagined what the day out with Rye would be like. I honestly don't know what's wrong with me, I used to never be like this, I used to be able to control my feelings and not let the crush I had on my best friend consume my every thought. But that's just it though...is it more then a crush?. I've known I like him for months now, I've practically liked him ever since I laid eyes on him but I just never payed any thought to it, I guess all this time without him just made me realise how much I need him in my life and how the lack of him made me go..crazy. I mean it wasn't just him that made those months horrible, my mother and her fiancé didn't help things either but I'd rather not get into that. He has the ability to make anyone's life so much better and I see it first hand everyday with all the roadies. They go mad when he tweets and when he has solos in their covers and it makes me happy seeing him following his dreams and having the chance to show off his talent because let's face it, he has the voice of an angel!
I was interested to see how today's day out in Windsor would go. A part of me wants something to happen between us and another part of me - the realistic part is telling myself that it won't. That he would never like me like that. But then I think of all the little encounters with him, the intimate eye contact, the flirtatious teasing, all the little things that I took note of. I've convinced myself that it's probably nothing, that he does it with everyone but I'll always have that little bit of hope that maybe, just maybe something could happen between us in the future (hopefully the near future).
I got up early in order to leave myself plenty of time to get ready since Rye was coming for me at 10. I hopped into the shower while I let Roadtrips playlist play from my bedroom. I got changed into a pair of ripped denim jeans, my blue adidas tee and my adidas superstars. I left my hair dry naturally into its light brown curls. I didn't bother with make up today considering Rye once told me he preferred me without it, with the exception of mascara. I took my phone off charge and scrolled through my notifications as I walked downstairs.

Sorry I haven't been active roadies, I've been catching up with someone who means a lot to me❤️🙈-Rye🐝

I smiled as I liked and retweeted.

'Why are you so smiley and why are you up so early?' My father asked as I entered the kitchen.
'I bet she's going out with Rye!' Bella said excitedly.
I shot her a sarcastic smile before gathering my stuff, ready to leave as soon as Rye gets here to save him from the many questions he would receive from my dysfunctional parents.
'Rye? Beaumont? , I haven't heard that name in a while. I'm glad you're hanging out with him again Sky, I always did like that boy, he'll treat you right' my dad commented.
I blushed at his words as the two of them stared at me intensely, waiting for my response. Just as I was about to reply I heard the doorbell ring.
'Saved by the bell' I said as I practically ran to the door.
'Hey babe, you ready to go?' Rye asked, he was in jeans which were loose on his hips, and a pain white tee. He had his white high tops on with a chain around his neck and a black SnapBack on his head. He looked amazing. As usual.
'Yep, just about. BYE DAD, BYE BELLS' I yelled as I closed the door after me.
'You look cute today' he complimented, as we walked towards Slough train station.
'So you're saying I don't look cute everyday' I teased.
'You know that's the last thing I meant' he said while that cocky smirk appeared on his face once again. I blushed as I laughed nervously.
'Ooohhh did I make you blush' he teased. Naturally I blushed more at his comment.
'It's okay, I have that effect on people' he joked and he nudged me playfully with his elbow'

If only you knew just how much you really effected me Rye Beaumont.
