The american school system is fucked up. I'm doing 5 hours of homework on top of track, I haven't gotten a good nights sleep since school started in fall. It's March now and I've considered suicide more than I can count, I've fallen asleep in every class I have (even band) because of lack of sleep, and i'm not even learning anything important.
I could be learning basic life skills, like cooking, childcare, taxes, budgeting, car repair, but no, I'm learning about how to diagram a sentence and how to multiply polynomials.
And to top it off, most of the teachers suck, the students are shitty, and they say that school is a welcoming, safe community, but I've been made fun of just because I dyed my hair blue.
