"Oh, come on, I wasn't flirting." Jennifer had her phone held between her ear and shoulder as she was busy tuning her guitar whilst she was sitting on her bed.

"You totally were, I know your flirty smile." Jennifer rolled her eyes. Alex had called her that evening when she returned home from school to call her out on her apparent 'flirting' with Ally.

"Will you chill out, Al?" Jennifer sighed, before plucking a string on her guitar, checking if it sounded correct.

"I'm only messing with you." Alex laughed down the line and Jennifer just furrowed her brow. "But I did think you were flirting with her at first."

"Did you now?" Jennifer challenged rather distractedly as she continued to pluck a few more strings.

"You think she's hot though, right?"

Jennifer once again rolled her eyes. "Oh, yeah she's getting me so hot right now." She deadpanned.

The redhead laughed which made Jennifer smile. " What are you doing now anyway?" The brunette heard her ask, along with the little voice of Waverly in the background.

"Oh, you know, just touching myself over Ally." She joked and Alex couldn't help but laugh at her.

"You're such an idiot. Wow you really don't have a filter, do you?"

"Not at all but I'm sure you love it baby." Jennifer smirked as she placed her guitar beside her bed.

At the other end of the line, Alex was smiling like an idiot as a warm fuzzy feeling spread around her body at Jennifer calling her 'baby'.

Jennifer was just about to open her mouth again when a scream from the hallway cut her off. "What the fuck?"

"What was that?" Alex was just as surprised as Jennifer once she heard the sudden shriek down the phone.

"Well the only other person home is Eliza. Hold on till I see what the hell she's doing." Jennifer set the phone down on the bed without hanging up before heading out into the hallway. "What the hell are you screaming at?" The teenager asked as she took sight of the back of Eliza who was standing in the bathroom doorway.

Eliza didn't answer and Jennifer approached her from behind to see what was going on. "Look." The younger girl finally spoke once her sister came up to her and pointed to the bathroom floor where there was a huge spider.

"Holy shit." Jennifer jumped back slightly but Eliza grabbed her arm.

"You have to kill it." Eliza pleaded, tightening her grip on the shorter girl's arm.

"I'm not going near that, look at the size of its legs!" Eliza protested as she shook her arm out of Eliza's grip before staring at the creature on the floor.

"Oh, so you lose the bad ass front now?"

"Shut up! You know I hate spiders." Jennifer hit Eliza's arm and screwed up her face at the spider that she believed to be taunting them. They must have looked like some sight, both of them grabbing onto each other in the doorway whilst a spider that wasn't even the size of their hand was the reason they couldn't go in. "Why do I have to kill it? You do it."

"Because you're the oldest."

"You're taller."

"That makes no sense."

"Neither does me being older, spider killing isn't like R-rated business." Jennifer deadpanned, looking up at her younger sister who just gave her pleading eyes in return. "Ugh fine... give me your shoe."

Eliza gladly slipped off one of her shoes and handed it to the older girl. "Here."

Jennifer slowly entered the bathroom with the shoe in her hand. "I'm gonna smack that little bitch into the ground." She muttered. It was obvious someone had something against spiders (besides a shoe).
