"Oh my god this is so embarrassing." Jennifer groaned, trying her best to cover her crimson face with her hands.
Alex tried to bite back a giggle but she failed miserably.
"Shut up! It's not funny!" Jennifer took one hand away from her face to smack Alex on the arm.
"It's cute." Alex giggled, removing the girl's hand away from her face.
"How is it cute when I can't even make out with you without losing it?" Jennifer asked seriously and Alex just smiled at her. "Why are you smiling like that?" She asked, looking up at her girlfriend who was still straddling her.
"Because it's endearing that you can't resist me." Alex giggled. "Look Jennifer, it happens, there's nothing wrong with it. I'm honestly flattered that I was able to get you worked up so easily."
Jennifer sighed heavily, allowing Alex to interlock their fingers. "In my defence though, I'm inexperienced compared to you plus I'm due my period so I'm hormonal as fuck." She laughed.
Alex's smile dropped as she stared off blankly for a second.
"You alright?" The brunette asked in confusion.
"Yeah." The redhead shook herself out of her thoughts and smiled back down at Jennifer before climbing off the girl.
As soon as Alex climbed off of her, Jennifer reached down to button her jeans again as did Alex.
"When are you coming back to school?" The redhead asked, changing the subject as she walked over to the kitchen.
"Monday, I think." Jennifer sat up as she answered. "Why? It doesn't make any difference anyway, Caitlin's just gonna make me transfer class." The brunette huffed, turning her body around so she could watch Alex in the kitchen.
"We could try and convince her." Alex suggested with a shrug.
"Are you kidding me?" Jennifer scoffed as she stood up, making her way over to Alex who was boiling water for a coffee and tea. "The woman's known me since I was about seven years old, she probably knows that I'm already sneaking around behind her back again. She knows me too well, Alex. As for my dad, he just thinks I'm up to no good constantly."
"I'll figure something out." Alex reassured as she stirred Jennifer's coffee for her.
Then the apartment buzzer rang.
"Who's that?" Jennifer asked, leaning against the counter as she picked up her mug.
"I have no idea." Alex furrowed her brow and went to answer it. She pushed the button. "Hello."
"Alex, it's me and Waverly." A man's voice was heard through the speaker.
"Oh okay. Come on up." Alex turned around to Jennifer and looked slightly worried.
"Is that Tom?" Jennifer wondered, looking down at the coffee in her cup.
"Yes. Please be nice." Alex pleaded as she unlocked her front door.
"Alex, I thought we put this behind us? Of course, I'll be nice, he's Waverly's dad." Jennifer shrugged, taking a sip of her coffee. "Can we say we're dating?"
"Uh yeah, just don't mention your age... or the fact that you're still in school." Alex rushed out before opening her door. Jennifer rolled her eyes.
"Mommy!" Waverly squealed, running into her mother's arms who hoisted her up onto her hip.
"It's Saturday, what's my baby girl doing here?" Alex teased, tickling her daughter who just giggled, clinging onto her mother.
"We were just passing by and she wanted to come in and see you." Tom smiled as he closed the door behind him.
