Day after tomorrow.
You are really excited.
Of course I am. I haven't been on a proper date for a year, maybe more.
Me too. I mean I'm excited but I think I'm more of a bounce up and down in my seat sort of girl, rather than singing about it over the phone.
I was not singing.
Alright, I'll concede.
So how was work today?
Good, a lot of customers were good today, rather than grumpy.
That makes for a good day.
It really does. I was drawing today and I think it's my best work yet.
Oh, what did you draw?
It was one of the roses you got me. It had died but it looked really romantic the way it was hanging on to life for so long.
So you drew it.
I did. And it looks lovely. It is probably one of the best things I've ever drawn.
Can I see it?
I'll bring it with me when we meet for lunch.
I can't wait to see.
I think you'll like it. I think I'll bring my sketchbook and let you see more of my art.
You'd do that?
Just for you.
I'm touched. Thank you.
... Well, talk to you later.
Bye Klair.
