POV: Lin
Lin sat bewildered as (y/n), and a few minutes later, Vanessa suddenly rushed out of the resteraunt. He tried to shake it off by continuing conversation with the others but he couldn't get rid of the nagging feeling in the back of his head that something was up. His doubts were confirmed when his phone buzzed in his back pocket. After wiping his hands on his napkin he slipped it into his hands and hurriedly pressed accept when he saw that Vanessa was calling. She spoke before he got a chance to.
"You have to come to (y/n's) apartment. Now." She hung up. Her voice sounded so urgent that he got up from the table and left with only the words "I have to go."
Minutes later the taxi he had to take since Vanessa had taken the car pulled up in front of (y/n) apartments, and without missing a beat he tossed the driver a twenty and ran up the stairs not noticing anything but the strange urgent feeling in his chest. Lin wiggled the knob to her apartment and found it was open. His heart broke at the sight when the door swung open, but before he got a chance to think, move, or breath recognition flooded his brain, and somehow, he knew that this was the same girl who had died all those years ago.
Slowly, Lin walked toward the girl sobbing near the window and as he neared her Vanessa got up and left the room after shooting him a sad smile, a bittersweet look on her face.
Somehow the two found themselves in each other's arms, their lips pressed together, and their brain for once thinking of nothing but the present.
The End.
Authors note: hey guys, thanks so much for reading!! Sorry for the rushed ending but I've sort of lost my inspiration for this story and it sucked anyway and I felt really bad because I hadn't written anything for like three months and i didn't want to leave it unfinished. I was planning on making this longer, but oh well. Should I write an epilogue? ALSO I SAW AMELIE A FEW WEEKS AGO AND IT WAS FUCKING INCREDIBLE!!!!
