A/N: This chapter is gonna be pretty long so bear with me you guys. This chapter's fluff up until the end... that's when some shit goes down... Thanks for reading!❤ Also sorry for the weird format, Wattpad won't let me un-center it. I'll try to fix it later.

"It's 6:30!" a shouted from downstairs, waking you up. You groaned and rolled over, covering your face with your pillow. You had gotten a maximum of three hours of sleep last night, and you felt like a fucking zombie to be honest.

"Coming!" You called wearily, forcing yourself yourself to roll out of bed, pull on a pair of jeans, and a gray tank top. You sniffed a blue cardigan that was lying on the couch. It smelled okay, so you pulled that over your shoulders with a light shrug. Hurriedly, you shoved your wallet into the smallest pocket of your backpack, which you slung over your shoulder and half tumbled down the stairs.

Your dad was seated at the kitchen table reading a newspaper, and your mom was standing over the oven attempting to make scrambled eggs, while your brother ran around the kitchen pushing his toy train. Could your life get anymore cheesy?

"It should be illegal to wake up this early." You grumbled, filling your travel coffee mug to the brim. "Well, maybe if you went to bed at decent hour, you wouldn't be so tired all the time." Your mom shot back. You ignored her, and glanced over at the clock hanging near the window. Shit!         How was it already 6:50? You had gotten up like a minute ago.

A familiar vehicle honked outside the house. Despite your overwhelming exhaustion you grinned. Lin. "I gotta go," you said, grabbing an apple to eat in the car, "I'll be home late, I'm going the carnival." Your dad mumbled something that sounded like "Have fun." But his mouth was full of cereal so you couldn't quite tell.

"I wanna come!" Your  little brother whined.

"You don't wanna come with me unless you wanna see two gross teenagers kissing, buddy." You whispered in his ear with a chuckle, as you swung him up into you arms, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "BLEACKK!" He yelled, professionally as you placed him back onto the kitchen floor.

"Maybe mommy can take you." You told him, and he ran up to her, a pleading expression on his face.

"We'll go tommorow Phillip." She said with a light laugh. You and Lin always went on the first day. That was the only day they had fireworks.

"Okay!" Phillip exclaimed, seemingly satisfied. Lin honked again. You pulled your blackberry out of you pocket.

To Lin the m&m: I could take longer ;)

From Lin the m&m: I could leave

To Lin the m&m: You would never, you love me too much.

From Lin the m&m: :(

You giggled, and finally ran out the house, sliding on a pair of converse as you went, an apple in one hand, and your coffee in the other. The first thing you saw as you stepped outside was Lin beaming at you from the car window, and that woke you up more than any coffee could. Now the sun had truly risen. You climbed into the passanger seat and greeted him with a peck on the cheek. "I got like three hours of sleep last night," you complained, slumping into your seat, "Hurry up and drive so we can get school over with." Lin smirked slyly at that sentence. You raised your eyebrows in question.
