I see a blank screen, and there is a deep longing for my life to be so
A fresh canvas that awaits my permission for the blotches, splatters and strokes
In colours that I, and I alone, will allow; a masterpiece over which I bear full control
And I will ensure no dents, or burns or smudges tarnish this metaphor of my soul
My hands shall preserve this rare form of art; colours with a vibrancy that only grows more bold
The canvas shan't tear; I am tired and now everything inside me just yearns to be whole
