in another passing of the seasons, in another lifetime, i would find you and i would choose you. above everyone. above everything.
because you gave me constellations instead of your opinions and the ever-burning sun as a token of your love. you sent out flares when i was lost and held up the best parts of me to guide me back.
whilst all i gave you was an unexplained goodbye and a heart that was too much of a coward to let you love me like that.
so, yes, in an another passing of the seasons, in another lifetime, i would have the courage to bare my soul to you. for the mere thought of spending another eternity too frightened to let you in is a prison of its own that i wish not to fall back into.
