Loraine's POV
I guess I'm the last one, huh?
As you all know, I'm Loraine Obedoza. A familiar. I am currently sixteen years old. Anyways, let's just get on the actual story, my actual past.
I was born in a small village near Fatum. Let's just say I wasn't born into that rich of a family. My mother worked hard to just sustain our living. She works at a diner, as a nanny, and as a maid. My father of course, he always takes a huge quantity of the money that my mother worked hard on.
He usually buys booze and some cigarettes.
(Nicotineeeee. . . Pun intended?)
He always gets drunk, mother doesn't know but. . . Every night, dad- I don't even wanna call him my father. . . Brings women home at night when mom is away. That man. . . I hate him!
I just wish that I could kill him with my bare hands! When he gets mad, he throws beer bottles at us. Mother always shields me from the broken glass and gets cuts. But whe she's gone, he'd use the cigarette butts to burn my skin.
He abuses me. . . One day, mother had enough. She dragged me away from that monster, knowing that it wouldn't do good of we stayed. We signed up as maids at the castle.
Yes, I may be young but I know how to work. And not do hard labor because I ain't pregnant.
I was signed up as a maid for the princess, Faye Kathlyn Fatum. She wasn't just like any of those bratty princesses, she was adventurous. She really wasn't into those dresses, she was into pants.
She really was an icon for me. She'd always treat me fairly and didn't want me to wear the maid outfit. She had me have normal clothes and she became my friend.
One day, her parents wanted me to be her familiar. My mother asked me if I do, and I just simply answered yes, which made Faye do flips. When we did the contract at night, I was a familiar made to acompany my master. I was basically a friend type familiar.
I had the urge to stay with Faye when she is down or troubled. I'm basically her shoulder to cry on.
We went to the private school of Fatum. I always sticked with Faye. A lot of girls wanted to befriend her but she easily declined and said that she has me. They would always be jealous of me and bully me but Faye stands up for me.
I really loved being her familiar actually. When the time came, we met up with the others. We met them at the hill that we usually meet up.
Denise would usually rant things to me and teach me Greek and Latin since I was the only one interested.
Faye usually plays with the others, she is close to Venice.
As they said. . . Veronica kidnapped us and tormented us. . . Our friends. . . We didn't see them anymore. . .
Then. . . The time came, Collin died, Elcia lost control and her parents wanted to move. The boys didn't play with us anymore and the twins didn't leave their castle.
Almost a lot has changed at that time.
We receive a letter from Elcia stating that her parents and Megumi are dead.
Venice usually talked with Collin and Megumi but couldn't find her parents.
That's the last time that we heard from Elcia though. Then we were all called into Roozvelt. Faye and I were left there for a little while. The others were already there so we went there by choice.
But before that. . . I heard something from the castle. . . My mother died. She has died from age and she was so tired. They didn't want her to work that much but she forced herself. It may have took sometime before I can get over it but. . . I really miss her. . . I wish I was there. . .
They said that she wanted to see me for the last time but. . . Wasn't able to last that long for me to see her. . . And what I heard was that monster had visited her when she died and wanted to take her money but the king and queen refused.
Serves him right. They also heard of what he has done to us, so he got a twenty year prison time.
When I got over the deatn of my mother, we went to Roozvelt. We then started staying there, knowing what our purpose was, we stayed. We liked it there, even though I murdered a cake. *Smirk*
Anyways, that'll all of you guys need to know about my past.
