.:Chapter 37:. A Different Chapter

Ruby's POV

I woke up laying down at a patch of flowers, I stood up and looked around, guessing it's a village, it's not that big, but not that small too. I looked around and saw a hill. I jogged up the hill and saw a girl wearing a simple white dress, silver hair, and big blue eyes. She was crying. I looked around to see no one. But then I heard her mumble something. . . Something about promises and breaking them.

I suppose that this is a love thingy?

"Luna!" A male voice called over to her as two boys. One with black hair and green eyes, I'm guessing at the age of ten, and one with black hair and eyes at the age of eight. The one with green eyes walked over to the girl with the name of Luna and hugged her. "It's okay, don't worry. . . They will come back soon." The boy said as he played with her hair as he tried to make her stop crying.

The one with black hair stared at them with the mix of sadness and worry. He just sighed as he watched them. After the girl calmed down, she stood up and wiped her tears off as the boys smiled at her action.

"I-i'll wait. . . Even if it takes twenty years!" The girl exclaimed as she was picked up the boy with green eyes.

"Big bro Oliver! L-let me down!" She said as she slammed her fists onto her Oliver's back. Yet Oliver didn't seem to mind as he just smiled. The boy with black eyes stared at curiousity of what Oliver is going to do with Luna.

Oliver just ran down the hill as Luna was screaming stuff. Oliver looked back and said "C'mon Blake! It's going to be dark soon!" Oliver waved at him while Blake just sighed and walked down.

Luna looked at where I was and started saying things to her Oliver and Blake as they weren't believing at her when they looked back to see nothing.

I wonder why she can see me.

Then black spots filled my vision as I blacked out.

I woke up to see a small house with a boy with red eyes and black hair holding the hands of a girl with purple - ish hair and blue eyes. They both looked sad as they were talking.

I walked closer to hear their conversation and hid at a bush. "I'm sorry Junipher to make you worry." The girl said as she smiled at- WAIT. . .

JUNIPHER?! DOES THAT MEAN THAT SHE IS. . . VALERIE?! I just smiled and examined them. They looked good together, Valerie was beautiful while Junipher was handsome. But I frowned. Some people were against their relationship.

"Seriously, I should worry! You're everything to me! You're like my life!" Junipher exclaimed as Valerie just planted a kiss to his lips to shut him up. Junipher was surprised at her actions and took a little while, but he started to kiss back.

I just smiled as I felt the earthshake. I looked down and saw the void. It devoured me into the pits of darkness. I looked around to see nothing.

"Your mother died because her magic devoured her. . ."

So. . . I'm being devoured by the void. . . I don't really feel much but. . . I feel tired.

"Ruby! Ruby my daughter, wake up!" I bolted up to see nothing but darkness. "Ruby. . . Don't let it devour you. . . Get a grip!" I woke up and looked around to see Elcia, Ella, Castor, Haru, Elder Rhea, and Lady Emily surrounding me.

I was sweating and I felt like my throat was dry from screaming. "Ruby. . . Do you remember anything?" Elder Rhea asked. "V-void. . ." I said, having some difficulty as my throat was dry. I heard footsteps as I looked at the door to see Kyuumi and Faruru holding their knees, breathing heavily.
