Chapter 9

"I-I" Brendon stutters looking back and fourth at her and I.

I stand there looking at this girl she had Red hair with some pink in it and it was really short she was wearing a black beanie and a black shirt with some light skinny jeans and some grunge boots.

She wasn't bad.

"Haley, I can explain!" Brendon exclaims.

I roll my eyes as does she.

Like if I were this Haley chick I wouldn't even listen because that's the oldest excuse ever.

Like that's all they ever said is 'I can explain!' No you can't explain.

Just tell the truth.

"Oh my god Brendon what are you gonna say?! Is this just another one of your cousins?!" She yells at him.

Wait... Why was she in my house and how did she find it.

"Um.... Yeah hi sorry to interrupt but how did you find this place and get in?" I ask softly.

I didn't like meeting new people.

He head snaps towards me and she glares.

Well sorry I'm worried about my family's safety.

"I saw his car out front I was on my way to his house and this was a shortcut" she spits.

I sigh and nod.

"Haley, please-" Brendon starts and takes a step towards her.

She looks back at him and her eyes soften.

"Haley please... I'm sorry baby she's the mother of my child, I just wanted to reconnect so we could go visit Nevada together but that's it I want nothing more to do with her" he says softly rubbing Haley's arms.

She nods and wraps her arms around his neck kissing him.

Well, ouch.

I was hurting so fucking bad.

I thought.....

But then again he never said he wanted to get back together.

He didn't even mention he had a girlfriend.

I turn around slowly tears in my eyes and start walking to my room

This is why I didn't fall for guys they always just end up making me fall and then they aren't there to catch me.

When I finally get to my room I slowly open the door and close it gently then walking over to my bed and laying down on my side staring at my wall that was full of my favorite band posters.

I silently let the tears stream down my face.

This is why I don't smile.

I never found a reason too.

With that I fall asleep silently.

"Sarah, Sarah wake up or you won't be able to sleep tonight." Jess says softly stroking my hair.

My eyes open slowly and look at her exhausted.

I just wanna sleep forever.

And never wake up.

"I really don't wanna get up. What time is it anyways?' I ask softly still laying down.

"4 pm" Jess says checking her phone.

I sigh and look back at the wall.

I had slept all day.

"Sarah, to be honest I didn't knew he was with someone. Or else I would have never tried to put him back in your life. I'm sorry" Jess says.
