"There!" She said, as she did the final touches of my makeup.

"Lemme see." I walked over to the wall mirror, beside the desk.

"You look smoking. I mean you're always gorgeous, but you don't even look like.. you." She walked up beside me, admiring her "work".

She was right. I didn't even recognize myself.

She had a beach wave, type of style, in my hair and a gorgeous natural-glow face of makeup.

"Yeah.." I said smiling at her.

"My turn." She giggled.

She began to straighten each stand of her chestnut-brown hair.

After she finished, and started to put on her makeup.

Dylan had it going for herself.

She was amazing at everything... I mean literally everything.

Sports.. Fashion, makeup, hair, being a great friend...

Me? What could I do. From what I've seen, all I'm capable of is messing everything up.

She finally finished.

I was sitting on my bed, playing on my phone.

She walked over to me, "well?" She did a little twirl.

I sat my phone on my lap.

"You look beautiful." I smiled with a nod, "Those twins will be all over you. And if they're not, I'll beat them up."

She laughed, "I love you."

"I know." I flipped my hair back, off of my shoulder.

I looked up at her with a childish expression, her smile faded.

"I love you too." I grinned.

"Good, you had me worried there for a second." She sighed out of relief.

"And why would that be?" I asked her, playing dumb.

"Well if you didn't love me back, we would have a serious problem." She rolled her eyes.

"What's that?" I asked.

She stepped over beside me and playfully punched my shoulder.

"Ouch," I laughed, "what was that for?"

"That was for teasing me. Try me again and you'll be saying more than 'ouch'." She put her hands together and began to crack her knuckles.

"Dylan.." I sarcastically gasped, "Are you threatening me?"

"I would never!" She joined in on the sarcasm.

We both laughed.

"So, you talked to your boy?" She sat down beside me.

"Not yet-" I began to say.

But right before I could finish my sentence, my phone vibrated in my leg.

"Well.." Dylan looked down at my phone, "Um.. I guess you all don't just have emotional attraction, but have psychic attraction as well."

Grayson: Hey.
Allison: Hey! Just finished getting ready. I'm excited for tonight!
Grayson: ..yea same!
Allison: what's with the .. at the beginning😩 makes me nervous!
Grayson: Nothing!! I just can't wait to finally meet this beautiful girl I've been talking to.
Allison: oh?
Grayson: I mean I know she's gonna be the prettiest girl I'll ever lay my eyes on. Even though, I don't know what she looks like.. I just know she'll be perfect.
Allison: wow. You really know how to flatter a girl.
Grayson: when she is special I try.
Allison: 😊.. so Dylan's show thing starts at 6:30. I'm gonna make sure she is set, then I'll catch an uber to our "date".
Grayson: okay, I can't believe we are finally meeting.
Allison: I know it's crazy right?
Grayson: yes!!
Allison: I'll ttyl.. we are gonna grab some lunch.
Grayson: you are aware it's 4 p.m. right?
Allison: well yes. But when you've got a friend like Dylan, appearances matter. So we've been getting ready since 10 a.m. And we haven't had the chance to eat yet🙄😂
Grayson: omg😂
Allison: hehe c ya.
Grayson: bye. See you soon.

I locked my phone, and looked up at Dylan.

I completely forgot she was sitting right next to me.

Which most likely means she read our entire conversation.

She had a really freaky smile on her face.

"You all are so cute." She said, robot like.

"Why did you say it like that?" I scrunched my eyebrows.

She shrugged her shoulders, "I got bored."

"You're so weird." I laughed.

"Oh that's rich, coming from you." She widened her eyes.

"Let's get some food." I stood up as I laughed at her "snarky" come back.

"Yay! Food! Food! Food!" She chanted.

She bobbed her head.

"Remind me again, why we are friends..?" I joked.

She put her left hand on her chest, and replied in a sweet-southern accent, "I am deeply offended by that! How could you say that.."

"Get up, dork." I rolled my eyes, "or no food."

She got off of the bed and ran out of the room.

As she was doing so, she yelled, "I would do any and everything for food. But you're paying! I spent most of our food money on shopping."

I'm gonna kill her. Oh my lord.

"Dylan!" I yelled, making sure I grabbed the room key this time, I ran after her.

"Yes?" She asked innocently.

"Exactly how much did you spend?" I asked, closing the door behind me.

"About a third of it, BUT" she threw her hands up, defensively, "It was for a good cause." She finished with a nervous tone.

"..Dylan what am I going to do with you." I laughed.

"I don't know.." she paused, "You still love me right?"

"Of course I do. You're my best friend. And no matter how weird or annoying you are, I'll always love you."

"Aww Allison, you're gonna ruin my makeup." She walked over to me.

She threw her arms around me.

"Come on let's get some food before we have an emotional breakdown." I laughed, breaking our hug up.

She nodded, "lead the way. I'll call an uber."
