Book 2, Chapter 1: Behind the Camera

3 1/2 years later... (after the accident)

"We are gathered here today, on this happy and joyous occasion, to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony." The preacher paused and smiled, "Marriage is a solemn institution to be held in honor by all, it is the cornerstone of the family and of the community. It requires of those who undertake it a complete and unreserved giving of one's self. It is not to be entered into lightly, as marriage is a sincere and mutual commitment to love one another. This commitment symbolizes the intimate sharing of two lives and still enhances the individuality of each of you. So.. Groom, do you take this woman to be your wedded wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to her as long as you both shall live?"

"I do."

"And the bride," the preacher continued, "do you take this man to be your wedded husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to him as long as you both shall live?"

"I do."

"Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Wait! I'm going to pause the story for a second, just to catch you up.

I know what you all are probably thinking.

OH MY GOD. SHE IS FINALLY GETTING MARRIED!!!

Well... sorry to burst your bubble... but no, I am not getting married to Grayson.
Or anyone for that matter.

In fact, this is and Bri's father and my mother's wedding.

So yeah.. About Grayson.. I know. It's a big disappointment that we didn't end up together. But honestly, I think it's for the best.

He and Ethan wanted the best for his fans, and doing so, that meant serious commitment.. I wanted the same thing, except our "commitments" were far different from each other's.. His commitment was to his fans, and mine was about committing to a serious relationship.

So no, I didn't get the guy in the end. But he followed his dreams, and his happiness was all I wanted of and for him.

Just to clarify, we didn't break up because we fell out of love with each other.. We broke up because we wanted different things out of life. It happens. Life sucks.  Get over it.

Now, I guess I'll catch you up on everyone and what they've been doing for the past 3 1/2 years.

Starting with Bri..

Brianna moved out to LA with the twins, so her and Ethan could get serious.

I mean, he had already put a ring on that, when she started beauty school.. so I don't know how much more "serious" they could've gotten than that.

Her and Ethan are taking things slow, well slower than things can go after you get engaged. Which has been two years now, but hey.. Who is counting?

Jai decided to go into the army.

And as for the rest of my friends, I haven't heard much from them. So I can't exactly update you, when I'm just as clueless as you all are.
