"Levi Heichou, why do you drink wine all the time?" The captain rolled his eyes at me and narrowed them, locking his stare straight into my teal ones.

"I don't always drink wine. In fact, I usually prefer tea, as I'd expect you to know since you always make it for me." He scoffed, crossing his arms.

"But when I do, it's usually to drown out the head splitting headache of annoyance I get watching you brats." I pouted.

"I'm not that annoying am I?"

"No." He said without hesitation, making me smile.

"You're more annoying. The most annoying really." I groaned and sat back in my chair.

"You're so mean Heichou..."

"Well, I certainly hope so."

We sat there in silence, though I couldn't tell if awkward, tense, or just quietly comfortable. It wasn't like I felt uneasy, but I certainly didn't feel calm. My leg shook underneath the table as I watched Levi sip the red liquid from the special glass. And just like with his tea, his fingers held it tightly from the surrounding rim. I scrunched my face up, unaware I was caught staring.

"Did you want a sip brat?"

"What? Oh no...I couldn't..." he raised a brow, and shrugged.

"I mean you don't have to keep pulling my leg Heichou! I'll drink it, jeez." I chuckled nervously, hearing him sigh before he slid his glass over.

My eyes widened. "Wh-what? I can't just...drink from your cup..."

"Why?"

"Oh, no reason...n-never mind." I swallowed and grabbed the wine glass.

I put my mouth up to it and slowly tilted it, letting the liquid touch my lips before I sipped it. My eyes widened and I retracted the object as far as I could.

"Yuck!" My tongue flopped out of my mouth and I shook my head.

Levi smirked and chuckled. "That good?"

"Ew! It was awful!" I cried, smacking my lips. "How do you adults drink that?"

"Eh, you get used to it. It is pretty nasty for a kid like you-"

"I'm not a kid anymore. I'm 2o."

"Hm, still a kid to me."

I stuck my tongue out and got up from the table. "Whatever, I'm going to hit the hay."

"Don't have to tell me Eren, I don't care." I sighed and nodded, walking off to my room.

Thankfully after 5 years I gained enough trust to move up from the basement, and into my own room. Levi was still my superior, but I didn't really care so much. And it wasn't that I loathed him, no, quite the contrary in fact. I was in love with him, which I think is pretty vulnerable on my part. After all, I'm the rogue Titan, a reliable weapon for the survey corps, and Levi is my captain. The one who keeps me in check.

I got out of my uniform and into my pajamas, not bothering to go down the halls and check on my friends. I was too exhausted, and the little sip of the wine seemed to go straight through me. It was awful, but I'm not experienced enough to even be good holding any amount of alcohol.

With that I got into bed and closed my eyes hoping for sleep.

I was awoken by a knock on my door. I groaned and sat up, glancing around for any sign of the time. It must of been a few hours since I've went to bed, which must make it about 1:30 am.
