"So why did you guys split up anyway?" Howard looked at Leonard as he set up the bed in the spare room.
"It's complicated, we've been having a lot of arguments recently, a lot of horrible things have been said and I think Rose was starting to pick up on the tension, this is just easier for everyone".
"I'm sorry mate, feel free to stay here as long as you need".
"Thanks Howard, I really appreciate it".
"3 weeks? Why didn't you say anything?"
Penny looked at Bernadette and Amy as they sat down on Amy's couch, "we agreed not to bring it up whilst you guys were going through these milestones, I mean we had Raj and Emily's engagement party and baby Matthew was born, but I think keeping it a secret pulled us apart even more".
"Penny you should have told us, you shouldn't have kept your ring on just to keep up appearances, that must have been so hard on you"
Penny looked down and started crying, Amy sighing and hugging her. "It hurts so much".
