Penny looked at Leonard as they walked into Howard and Bernadettes bedroom, Leonard shutting the door so that no one would hear them during the welcome home party for baby Matthew.
"I can't do this anymore Leonard, I can't keep on pretending everything is okay when it's not, our friends have a right to know".
"I know they do, but not right now, I don't want to ruin the party"
"You said that when we had the engagement party for Raj and Emily, please Leonard, I can't do it anymore" she teared up looking down, taking her wedding ring off and handing it to him.
He teared up looking at her, "it really is over between us isn't it?"
She nodded tearing up even more, "yeah, it's over". She went out the bedroom door and walked back to the lounge, apologising to everyone before leaving, wiping her tears on the way out.
