It was Rose's first birthday and Amy was 8 months pregnant when she went into labour.
After a very agonising 6 hours the baby boy had been born, James Lee Cooper.
Sheldon looked through the window into the room where all the babies were, looking down at the cot that said "Cooper" on it.
Penny came up behind him holding Rose, "I'm so proud of you Sheldon".
He smiled as he looked at her, "thank you, Penny, that means a lot, and I'm sorry that you have to spend Rose's first birthday in a hospital".
"Hey don't worry about it" she smiled as Rose reached out for Sheldon and handed her to him, "I think it's so awesome that our first borns share a birthday".
He smiled and turned back to James, "I can't believe I have a son, he's so beautiful". He looked at Penny as she wiped his tears away from his cheeks.
"Sheldon we both know if you start crying then I'll start as well, come on, let's go back to Amy's room, Leonard will be back soon with the car.
"Okay" he handed Rose back to Penny and smiled at her as they walked back to Amy's room, Rose babbling to herself.
