The Dare

Lucas p.o.v

I didn't look through everything in her room but I did find this one book in her end table. I took the book into my room and I decided to look through it. I thought it was a diary but it's a song book. The songs are actually good but I won't let her know that. I think I'll hold on to this book for awhile.

Maya p.o.v

I woke up and realized that it was Saturday so I got up and went to get ready.

(Without the choker or bracelet, whatever that is )
My outfit isn't that bad today but I still don't like it.

I went downstairs to the kitchen to get a drink but when I got there Lauren started to talk to me.

"Hey maya, you know how you said you like singing?" She asked me.
"Yeah" I replied. "Well we have a little music room that you're welcome to use" she told me. I know about the room but she doesn't need to know that. "Really!?, thank you so much!" I squealed and she laughed.

I completely forgot about breakfast and I went to get my song book from my room.

I ran into my room and went to get my book but it wasn't there. I thought for sure that I put it in my end table but maybe it's in a box still.

I looked all over my room but I can't find it. I decided to find it later and for now just to do a cover of a song.

I went downstairs to get some water before I sing and Lauren asked me if she could watch me sing. I usually don't like to sing in front of people but she is letting me use the room so why not.

Lucas walked into the kitchen and asked what we were doing and when I told him he laughed and said I was probably terrible at singing. I didn't care though.

Lauren and I ignored him and went to the music room . She stood by the door and I sat down at the piano. I took a deep breath and started playing and singing.

When I was done I looked up to see Lauren just staring at me. "Maya! You have a beautiful voice!" She said in amazement. " Thank you " I said and we left the room.

I have an idea of who took my book.
I'm going to go look in Lucas' room even though he made it clear that I need to stay away. Lucas is out with his friends so now will be the perfect time. I finally found it under his bed so I took it back to my room and continued drawing.

Lucas p.o.v

I'm hanging out with Zay and farkle  at zay's house. I told them about maya living with me and they started laughing. "Hey its not funny" I told them but they continued laughing. So I got up and left.

Later on Zay came over to my house and we were thinking of ways to humiliate maya. "Oh I know" Zay said excitedly. "What?" I asked him. "I dare you to date her and.." Zay was saying but I cut him off. "No" I yelled.
" calm down Lucas , as I was saying, I dare you to date her and break her heart " Zay said smiling. "I'm not gonna date her" I told him. " why, are you scared?" Zay teased. "Fine I'll do it" I gave in.
