Maya p.o.v

The entire dinner was spent talking and dad just glaring at lucas.
My mom then made us go on a walk so she could talk with my dad to see what's wrong with him.

" I don't think your dad likes me" Lucas said. " what gives you that idea?" I asked him even though I know the answer. " Well he wasn't exactly thrilled when you announced that we're dating and he kept glaring at me during dinner " He said as he stopped walking. " I'm sure it's nothing " I said as I got onto my tippytoes so I could kiss him. After we kissed we smiled at each other and started walking hand in hand.
We ended up just walking around the block right before we went our separate ways.
Once I got home all I heard was yelling so I quickly went to my room and to bed. Everything is fine its just that Shawn is over protective, he did this with every guy I dated.

Lucas p.o.v

I'm guessing that Maya's dad knows about my old personality and is afraid that I'll hurt maya, what he doesn't know is that maya is the first girl I've ever actually loved and I wold never do anything to hurt her.
Once I got home I went up to bed because there's nothing to do.

Maya p.o.v

I woke up a little late today but still had enough time to get ready.

I decided to be comfortable today so I didn't go too crazy with my outfit. 
I ran downstairs because I was running late. Once I got my things and left I saw lucas in his car just waiting for me, he's a life saver.

Once I got in he started talking and eating at the same time. " why are you so late?, I've been waiting for 20 minutes " He said. " my alarm didn't go off" I replied as I took his food. " hey!, that's mine!" Lucas whined. " oh shut up, I had to skip breakfast and you shouldn't even have chocolate cake this early" I said as I took a big bite of the cake. I ended up eating all of it while he tried to take it back.

Once we got to school I ran to the bathroom to make sure that I didn't have cake on my face.

I was a little late to choir today but Mrs. Runge didn't notice, so I snuck in. " class, today you're going to perform your songs!" Mrs Runge told everyone, earning a lot of groans from the class. Some of the songs were good but most weren't, you could tell that people just didn't care.
I zoned out until it was Lucas' turn, let's just say I don't know how he even got in to this class, because you have to audition.

Skip to after school

Lucas is driving me home right now and he still is going on and on about the cake. " why did you do that?" He asked for the hundredth time. " will you just drop it " I snapped. " only if you give me a kiss" Lucas said. " fine" I said as a kissed him

Sorry I haven't updated in a while and that this one is so short. I just haven't had any ideas so this chapter was probably terrible, but let me know what you think and PLEASE if you have any ideas let me know.
