Lucas p.o.v

Maya really didn't have to go home because it's Friday night, but I need to work on getting her to go out with me.

She thinks we're going home but we're not. About 15 minutes into the car ride she fell asleep, which is great because she won't see where we're going.

We finally got to our destination 30 minutes later and of course, she was still asleep.

Maya p.o.v

I was sound asleep but Lucas just had to wake me up. When I looked out the window I didn't recognize anything, but how could I, it was dark and there were no shops or anything around.

" Did you drag me out here to kill me?" I asked him. " no" He said as he was getting out of the car.

I just sat there until Lucas opened my door and practically pulled me out of the car. " such a gentleman" I said sarcastically. " thank you, I try " He teased. Lucas then put his hands over my eyes and started walking me somewhere. "Okay, now I'm convinced you're going to kill me" I told him. " just relax, you're fine, I'm not gonna kill you" He said.

We were walking for about 5 minutes when Lucas suddenly took his hands off my eyes. " Lucas?" I asked "yeah" He replied. " What is this?" I asked.  " our date" He told me with a smile which quickly faded. " What date?, I never agreed to a date" I asked. " Yeah, but you and I were getting along so I thought you might want to go out with me? " Lucas said but also kinda asked me. " Did you just ask me out?" I asked to be sure. " I was hoping, so what do you say?" He asked. " Let's see how this date goes" I told him.

Lucas pulled out my chair so I could sit down. " thank you " I told him. " for what?" He asked me.  " for everything,  for being so nice to me now and for this" I said with a smile as I motioned to the place we were at. " so does that mean you'll be my girlfriend? " Lucas asked me. " yes lucas, I will be your girlfriend " I said with a smile.

Lucas p.o.v

I finally got her trust and for her to go out with me, I kinda feel bad about having to break her heart though.

After the date

We were going home when Maya asked me something. " why did you want to go out with me?, I'm ugly and stupid, you even said it yourself " Maya said looking down. " I wanted to go out with you because your nice, extremely funny, smart, and you're beautiful." I told her and she started blushing. " I only said those things because I was having a really bad week and a just wanted someone else to feel the way I did. But now I know that I shouldn't have done that because it made me feel even worse when I saw you were upset." I told her.

The next thing she did completely caught me off guard. She leaned over and kissed me. " thank you for telling me" she said and kissed me again.

The rest of the ride home was spent with us singing along to the radio and laughing.

Maya p.o.v

Lucas asked me out so I said yes. He probably thinks he is my first boyfriend just because he was my first kiss. But I've had others before.

Lucas told me why he did what he did, but I don't believe it for a second,  but I went along with it. This isn't going to end well.

When we got home we watched a movie and then I went to bed.

Next morning

I woke up around 8 and saw that Lucas was still asleep so I didn't bother to change my clothes. I mean it was just a tank top and shorts so it shouldn't ruin my disguise.

I grabbed my song book, Then ran downstairs and into the music room. I need to practice singing because my choir teacher wants me to help her help the students in the class be able to reach higher notes.

I sat down and thought about what I could sing that wouldn't be so loud it would wake up Lucas. I decided to sing "Bravado" by Lorde

( just pretend that Sarah isn't there)

Lucas p.o.v

I woke up and went to Maya's bedroom, but she wasn't there so I went downstairs. As soon as I got downstairs I knew exactly where she was because I could hear her amazing voice. I stood in the doorway and watched her sing but she didn't notice that I was there.
