Maya p.o.v

I was taking a nap when my phone started ringing, which of course woke me up.
" hello?" I said into the phone.  "maya, you need to meet me at the mall, we're going shopping! " of course it was Riley who called. " okay, just let me get ready" I sighed. " you okay?" Riley asked. " yeah, just a little flu" I replied. " okay,  I'll pick you up in 45 minutes then" Riley said.  " k, bye" I said and hung up. I guess I can't sleep all day.

I took a shower, got dressed and put on some makeup.

After I got ready I went to get some cereal because I was a little hungry.

I'm feeling fine right now except for being very tired but oh well.
I was almost done eating when Riley just walked through the door yelling. " I'm here, so let's go!" Riley yelled. " ok just let me throw this away" I said. Once I stood up I ran to the bathroom and threw up. That's not what I ment when I said I had to throw the rest of my cereal away, ughhhh.

" Maya, are you okay?!" Riley asked as she ran into the bathroom. " Yeah, yeah I'm fine, I just have the flu, remember? " I said. " yeah, I guess" she replied.

As we were driving to the mall I had the urge to throw up again. " Riley do you have a bag?" I asked her. " yeah, here" she said handing me a bag. " maya, are you sure it's just a flu? " She asked me. " Yeah, what else could it be" I said. " Well you feel fine and then you suddenly just throw up, so..." she said " so what?!" I snapped . " is it possible that you're pregnant?" Riley asked. Oh my god. " I.. I mean I guess?" I said as a question. " okay, well we're going to the drug store instead" Riley said looking at the road. " why?" I asked already knowing the answer, I just don't want to face this.
" you know why" is all she said.

Once we got to the drug store I became really nervous and couldn't move. " maya, come on" Riley said while pulling me. " ok" is all I said.

When I got in the store Riley pushed me to the counter. " um.. where are the.. the things?" I asked the person who works here. She is not gonna know what I'm talking about at all.
" uh.. what things? " She asked. " pregnancy tests" Riley but in. " oh, well there right down that hall" she said as we walked away.

"Riley, which one do I get?" I asked Riley. " How would I know?, just grab some and go" she replied. " ok" I sighed as I grabbed two tests and put them in the basket. We hurried up and payed for them right before rushing back to my house.

" go take them" Riley said pushing me into the bathroom. " don't push me" I snapped and Riley put her hands up in surrender. I took both tests and turned on a timer. I sat down on the floor and thought about what I would do if I was pregnant. Those five minutes go by fast when you're lost in thought. Before I knew it the timer went off so I slowly stood up and turned over the tests. I was frozen, I was so shocked that I couldn't even move or cry like I really wanted to right now.

I walked out of the bathroom after what seemed like 10 minutes of just complete shock. When Riley saw me she stood up and ran over to me. " Soo..." she said. I handed her the tests and a huge smile formed on her face. " Yay!, I'm gonna be an aunt!" She said with a huge smile.  " RILEY! , this is not good news" I yelled. " I'm sorry maya, you're going to be okay." She said bringing me into a hug. I started to cry my eyes out as she rubbed my back. " Riley, I can't be a mom, I'm only 16" I said. " you'll get through this, you're gonna be a great mom" she told me. " what about lucas?" I asked. " you have to tell him" she said.

2 hours later

Lucas is helping me cook dinner and all I can think about is the baby that's inside of me right now. I'm gonna tell lucas later or maybe tomorrow. " you ok?" Lucas asked me. " Yeah I'm fine" I replied and Lucas nodded.

We ate dinner in silence for some reason and then watched a movie on my bed. Towards the end of the movie I built up enough courage to finally tell lucas.

" hey lucas, can we talk?" I asked him. " yeah, but let's talk tomorrow, I'm tired ok" He said while yawning. " yeah that's fine I guess" I replied and fell asleep.

Early next morning

I woke up to a phone constantly buzzing. I sat up and rubbed my eyes right before turning to the end table so I could turn Lucas' phone off. I was curious as to why his phone was going off at 6 in the morning so I checked his notifications because he was still asleep. He had 15 text messages and some other random things that he needed to check. I went in to his messages and I felt tears burning my eyes. I finished reading all of them and by the end I was full on crying.

Hey you still coming over later?😘

Did you break up with that "maya" girl yet?

I threw his phone across the room which woke him up.
" hey, why are you crying?" He asked me. " HOW COULD YOU?!" I screamed at him. " what did i do?" He asked. " DON'T EVEN TRY TO HIDE THE FACT THAT YOU CHEATED ON YOUR PREGNANT GIRLFRIEND! " I screamed at him. " maya let me expla- wait did you say pregnant?" He asked. " YES I DID, NOW YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION FOR THIS CHLOE GIRL THAT YOU'RE CHEATING ON ME WITH!" I YELLED. " maya, she's my ex that is still convinced that we're dating " He said. " Lucas, you need to leave" I said trying not to yell again. " maya" Lucas was saying "NO I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT, LEAVE NOW!" I yelled and pushed him out of the house.  I don't believe him for a second.
