After dinner I went up to my room so I could draw a little bit. As I was drawing I got a text from one of my best friends. I call her Tori but her actual name is Victoria. I haven't heard from her since I moved to New York, even though we would hang out everyday after school when I lived in Pennsylvania.
Text messages ( M- maya T- tori)
T- I'm visiting New York for winter break, so we need to meet up☺
M- Finally you text me😑, we'll meet up the day you get here. And you need to meet my friends while your here
T- sorry for never texting, I can't wait to see you. Bye
M- bye
When I was done texting her I went downstairs so I could sneak up on Lucas, I'm very bored.
Lucas was talking to his dad but I didn't really care, I ran up and jumped on his back almost making him fall .
" Maya, what are you doing?" Lucas asked. " nothing" I told him as I got down. " Sure " he said and then kissed me. " good night" I said "night" He replied. I ran upstairs to my room and I went to bed .
Next day
I woke up really excited because I have choir today. I got ready and still had alot of time left.

I went downstairs and got my things ready. Lucas' parents already went to work and Lucas was still asleep. I went back upstairs so I could wake Lucas up for school.
I got Lucas up after about 15 minutes of him complaining. He finally came downstairs 10 minutes later so I pulled him out the door quickly so we wouldn't be late.
" maya, stop pulling me" Lucas complained. " why are you complaining so much?" I asked him. " you haven't gave me a kiss yet " He said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and leaned over to kiss him. " now, drive us to school" I told him.
We got to school about 10 minutes later. I thought we were going to be late but we had 5 minutes until the bell rang. I went to my locker and grabbed my song book because I needed it for choir.
I got to class with 2 minutes left until I would be late. Our teacher Mrs. Runge called me over to her desk as soon as she saw me. " Maya, do you have a song you can sing for an example? " She asked me because I was helping her today. " yes, I do" I replied. " great, the next assignment was to write a song and perform it, but because you all ready have a song all you have to do is perform. " Mrs. Runge said with a smile. " so I'm basically already done the project? " I asked her. " yep" she replied and I went to my seat.
Once everyone got to the class Mrs. Runge went to the front and started talking . " class, today Maya is going to help you write your own songs and maybe try to do some new notes to challenge yourself " Mrs Runge told everyone. "Maya already wrote her song and is now going to perform it for you" Mrs Runge said "Miss Hart, the stage is all yours" she said with a smile as she walked to the back of the room. I got up and walked to the center of the stage. " okay, well this song is called shadows" I tell the class and sit down at the piano.
When I was done everyone started clapping. " wonderful, maya you are very talented " Mrs Runge told me. " thank you " I replied as I took my seat. For the rest of class I was helping people with their songs.
My next class was history but I zoned out for the entire class because all I could think about was seeing Tori again. I'm so happy that winter break starts tomorrow. And yes, tori knows about the plan.
Before I knew it- it was time to go home. Once I got to Lucas' car I told him about my friend coming and he said that she could stay with us.
When we got home I ran up to my room so I could text Tori.
M- hey, you're coming tomorrow right?
T- yep, I can't wait
M- yay! Well Lucas said that you can stay with us
T- great, see you tomorrow, bye☺
M - bye
I then ran downstairs to see Lucas cooking dinner. I started to help him when he suddenly just stopped and kissed me. " What was that for?" I asked with a smile. " I love you" He replied and walked away leaving me stunned. I don't know if I love him.
Lucas p.o.v
I just told Maya that I love her, I can't believe it but I have feelings for the nerd I used to bully. I shocked myself when I said that to her so I walked away once I said it. I don't think I'll be able to break her heart, but I have to. --------------------------------------------------------- It's been a while since I updated last but here you go.
