It's so pathetic it's almost impressive...
It was about time. It had been forever since you last saw her. Weiss Schnee, your old childhood friend, invited you to her mansion for the day to catch up. It had been at least ten years since you saw her last. And today was the day. You slowed down your car when you got to the large white mansion. Weiss was waiting on the porch, laying in the warm sun and sipping lemonade. Klein Sieben waved to you as you parked. You stepped out and waved as he walked over to you.
"Hello Mr. (L/N)!" Klein smiled.

"Klein, long time no see dude!" You smirked, slugging him in the shoulder. He smiled.
"Ms. Schnee would like to see you now." Klein simply stated. You looked to see Weiss laying on a beach chair, getting a tan in a bathing suit.
"Thought the sun would burn ya," You said, taking a chair next to her, taking off your shirt, laying in you shorts.
"Haha," Weiss said. "How have you been (Y/N)?"
"Alright!" You smiled. "How about you Weiss?"
"Better now that your here," She smiled at you.
"Aw, you must've missed me!" You smiled.
"You have no idea!" Weiss smirked, a small blush on her cheeks.
"Hehe," You felt your face heat up.
"Did you miss me?" Weiss asked, looking nervous.
"Sure did!" You smiled. The sun soaked into your skin, spreading warmth all over your body.
"Really?" Weiss asked. You nodded.
"How could I not miss my best friend?" You inquired. Weiss giggled.
"I dunno. Remember all the games we played together back when we were young?" Weiss asked.
"Felt like forever ago!" You smiled.
"Sure did," Weiss smiled. She sat up. "Would you like to go inside?"
"Sure!" You smiled, and sat up.

Weiss opened her door and sat on the edge of her bed. She patted a spot next to her, signaling you to sit. You sat down comfortably. You noticed a picture of both her and you on a swing set together, back when she was five, and you were six. It triggered a flashback, a memory once forgotten.
*FLASHBACK*
"Hey!" Weiss shouted as you ran with the ball.
"Can't catch me!" You laughed.
"Get back here!" Weiss soon began to cry. You stopped, and rushed over to her.
"What's wrong Weiss?" You asked. She looked up with wide blue eyes filled with tears.
"I don't like it when you run from me." Weiss explained. "I want you to stay with me forever!" Weiss hugged you tightly, and kissed your cheek.
*(END FLASHBACK)*
"So, (Y/N)," Weiss said. "How long do you plan on staying?"
"I only plan on staying for the day." You replied.
"You can spend the night!" Weiss quickly said. "If you w-want to th-that is,"
"Sure, I'd love to." You smiled. Weiss smiled widely, and threw her arms around you.
"This is gonna be so much fun!" Weiss said.

The moon had replaced the sun, and the day was done. You always had spare clothes in your car, so you were able to find some gym shorts and a (F/C) tank top. Weiss had her bed and you had a spot on the floor. It was slightly uncomfortable, but you would much rather have Weiss be comfortable. The night brought the sounds of crickets and the hooting of an owl, somewhere out in the distance.
"So, you won the fight?" Weiss asked.
"Sure did!" You smiled. You were telling Weiss about some major events that happened in the past.
"Wow, I wish we could both go on an adventure!" Weiss said sleepily from her bed.
"When you're free and up for it, hit me up!" You smiled.
"Hey, (Y/N)?" Weiss asked.
"Yeah?" You replied.
"You wanna sleep up here?" Weiss muttered. Your body stopped everything it was doing. Breathing, thinking, and you swear your heart stopped beating.
"What?" You asked.
"Do you want t-to sleep up here?" Weiss repeated. "I'm kinda cold."
"Oh, well, a bed surely beats the floor!" You said, standing up. You laid down, next to your childhood best friend. She hugged you, and you put an arm around her as she laid her head on your chest. You closed your eyes, and let sleep surround you.

A loud crash of lightning awoke you. Weiss was under the covers, close to you. You saw the thunder rolling in the night sky.
"Weiss?" You said.
"(Y/N)!" Weiss happily said, her arms around you closed tighter.
"When did it start storming?" You asked.
"A little bit ago." Weiss responded. "It woke me up from a wonderful dream."
"Really?" You asked. "What were you dreaming about?"
"Um, oh, nothing!" Weiss turned away from you.
"C'mon, what was it about?" You asked once more.
"It was, about-" Weiss stopped.
"About?" You edged her on. She sighed deeply,
"It was about you," Weiss shyly asked.
"What about me?" You asked. She looked up at you.
"Can I just showed you what happened?" Weiss asked.
"Sure." You nodded. Weiss slowly crawled up to your face, and kissed you passionately. You were slightly shocked at first and melted into the kiss.
"I love you (Y/N)," Weiss smiled, breaking away.
"I love you too Weiss." You smiled before kissing her.
