Episode 4: Yang Xiao Long (RWBY)

You opened your eyes to a brand new day. However, today was going to be different.

"You'll tell her how you feel!" You smiled, looking at yourself in a mirror. You checked your teeth, brushed and flossed them. You combed your (H/C) hair neatly. Today was a big day.

You would tell her how you felt.

Yang Xiao Long.

The most popular girl at your school. She was always at all the parties, the person who told jokes and stories, sat at the crowded lunch tables and went to the school sporting events. She knew you. You two were once childhood friends. But the two of you have been distant recently. It was hard to explain. It seemed that school just seemed to get in the way.

You sighed as you walked out of the door, the cool breeze of the spring morning gliding by, filling you with fresh air. There were few clouds up in the sky, and the red ball was slowly rising in the East. You walked down towards the end of your driveway to wait for your bus. You could see it's flashing lights down the road. You still had a minute. You pulled out your music player, and inserted both buds into each ear. You scrolled through your songs and ended up playing (Favorite Song).

The bus slowly came to a stop, it's stop sign pair popping out, and you climbed aboard the bus.

"Good morning (Y/N)!" The bus driver smiled.

"Good morning!" You replied happily as You walked towards the back, where you sat across the aisle from your best friend, (BF/N).

"Hey (Y/N)!" He (or she) said. You smiled at him (or her).
"Why are you smiling like that?" They asked.

"Today I'm going to tell Yang how I feel." You replied. (BF/N) looked at you as though you were insane.

"Seriously?" They asked. You nodded with a questioning look.

"Is there a problem?" You inquired.

"No, I'm just surprised," they responded.

"What do you mean?"

"I never thought you'd have the guts."

"Why are we friends?"

"I'm just saying, she's literally one of the most popular girls in the school."

"And?"

"And!?" (BF/N) exclaimed with a shocked expression. "She turns down the jocks. Like Brad!" (Everybody knows that Brad kid. F*ck Brad...)

"Brad's a douche!" You said.

"And Chad!" Your friend said. (Everybody knows that Chad kid. Go Chad! 🇹🇩)

"Oh shit." You said. Chad was a sweet kid that Yang occasionally flirted with. "Still, I'm going to tell her. She is my childhood friend after all. I should let her know."

"If you think so," (BF/N) said, shrugging. You both talked about normal thins until you arrived to Hell... Oops. Sorry, school. You got off and entered the school, and parted with your friend to go to your class. You said your stuff down in your class and went back out in the hallways. You checked your phone. Only about twenty minutes before school starts. You went down the halls to look for Yang. After five minutes you ran into her sister, Ruby.

"Oh, hey Rubes!" You smiled.

"Hey (Y/N)!" Ruby smiled. "Yang was looking for you."

"Really?" You felt your heart beat pick up slightly. "I was looking for her!" Ruby pointed down the hallway.

"She went off that way." Ruby replied. The hallway Ruby pointed down was one of the least active hallways in the mornings, as it seemed to always have a draft, and it was around this time people wore T-shirts and shorts. You went down, passing few people when you saw Yang walking down the hallway.

"Yo, Yang!" You called out. She turned around. Her purple eyes made your heart skip a beat.

"Hey (Y/N)!" She smiled brightly.

"You wanted to talk to me?" You asked. You felt your face heat up. Crap. You were blushing.

"Yeah," Yang took a step towards you. "Well, it was more like something I wanted to give you~!" She then pecked you on the lips. "I love you (Y/N)!" Yang grinned. You felt your heart beat rapidly when she said that.

"I-I love you too!" You smiled.

"Thought so~!" Yang sang. "Would you like to be my boyfriend (Y/N)?"

"Yes!" You laughed and hugged her, and then kissed her passionately.
