Corruption

Takato's POV

I sat there watching Kai master his fishing skills. Guilmon blew bubbles in the ocean water.

"I know I asked this before; but are you going to take over the bakery after high school?" Kai asked putting a couple of shrimp and fish in a cooler.

"Yeah I've been thinking about it for a while; even though mom is pestering me into going to college." Takato laughed. Kai shook his head and laughed with him,"Yeah my mom is the same way." Guilmon sat up in the boat with an octopus in his mouth. His tail wagged as he put it in a separate cooler.

"Maybe Guilmon could work with me; he's a natural at fishing."

"Yeah but he is a natural at judging bread as well." Takato laughed. Guilmon laughed with agreement,"Yep I like bread better than fishies." Kai turned the boat and sailed towards the docks.

"So what about the others?" Kai asked steering the boat.

"Who? Rika and Henry?" Kai nodded turning the boat.

"Well Henry is going to be studying Computer Programming while Rika is going to study in litterature."

Kai stopped the boat and unloaded the fish. He took one cooler while Guilmon and Takato took the other two. They made it back to their Grandpa's house. They prepared the fish for dinner as Kai's parents stopped by.

"Oh Takato; we also have a few special guest coming by."

"Huh; who?"

"Well Minami will be coming over, also Yuki will be joining us as well!"

"Hold on; do you mean Yuki Shinpi-Tekina?" Takato looked at his cousin in shock,"The girl we met when you lived back in Tokyo?"

"Yeah same girl."

"I thought she moved to South America?" Kai nodded but then pulled out his phone and showed him the email.

"She's visiting her grandparents here and I invited her over."

Takato thought back to when he and Kai were little. The small girl with silver pigtails.

"Man it's been so long since I've seen her."

They finished setting up the table when there was a knock on the door. Takato was greeted by Minami and Yuki smiling. He smiled back and welcomed them in.

"Minami it's been a while since we last saw you; and Yuki I think it's been forever since I've seen you." He took their jackets as it was raining outside.

"Yeah it has; we were six right?" Yuki smiled. Takato nodded, but he felt like he was forgetting something. Guilmon rushed around the corner showing Takato the bread he just made with their Grandfather.

"Takatomon look I made fresh bread!" Yuki jumped from Guilmon and reached in her skirt's pocket for something.

"Guilmon what did I say just a minute ago?"

"To not run around and scare people, but I know Minami and Kai and your family I don't who you want me to hi- oh." Guilmon looked at Yuki with a curious look.

"Hi I'm Guilmon!" Yuki calmed down after Guilmon and Takato bickered at each other.

"You have..... a Digimon?" She looked at the goggle head with a small smile. Takato nodded,"You're not afraid?"

"No way; Takato." She took a digivice out of her bag and showed it to him. It was similar to Takato's but it's color was silver and lilac instead of yellow.
