Flight into the Sun

Henry's POV

Terriermon skipped around the sidewalk towards the beach.

"I can't wait to relax at the beach." Terriermon hopped up on Henry's shoulder with eagerness. Henry looked up at the cloudy sky with an unsure look.

"It looks like it's going to rain." There was a crash noise coming from a nearby park. Henry looked at Terriermon who nodded in agreement at him. They ran towards the noise. They came across a group of cheerleader looking girls who were beating up another girl.

"Go back to the wild where you belong!"

"Don't you have to go sing with the wolves with your kind?"

Henry felt some hatred towards those girls as he remembered back in elementary school.

"Terriermon, aim a bunny blast above there heads." He said sternly. Terriermon nodded and aimed his attack on top of a tree. The girls turned in shock as Henry glared at them.

"Get. Away. From. Her." They backed away and ran. Henry walked towards the girl who was blocking the attacks from the girls. She looked at her rescuer and smiled.

"Thank you." He helped her from the ground and smiled back,"No problem; I'm Henry; Henry Wong."

"Ayita; Ayita Wakį́yą." She smiled at him. Her golden eyes shined bright as she looked at Terriermon.

"Aren't you Terriermon?" She asked. Henry and Terriermon looked at her in shock. She smiled nervously at him as she pulled out a red and blue D-Ark.

"I'm a Digimon Tamer too!" She scratched Terriermon's head with a small smile.

"What partner do you have?"

"My partner is Hawkmon."

Drops started to fall from the clouds above. She motioned for Henry to follow her.

"Let's get out of the rain; my house is nearby."

They made it to her house. Her house was really small, but was very beautiful on the inside. There were Native American type paintings hung around the house. Digimon cards were scattered on the table. Games were connected to the T.V. And a cute little cat slept on the couch.

"Hawkmon I'm home!" She called out. A bird digimon ran out from a corner and jumped on Ayita.

"Your home, your home, your home!!!!" He then looked at Henry and Terriermon. He jumped on her shoulder and landed in front of them.

"Huh; new tamer and digimon?" He smiled at them and cheered.

"Never seen another tamer before!" He shook Henry's hand with energetic speed.

"Nice to meet you too Hawkmon." He smiled back. Terriermon jumped down from Henry's shoulder and landed on the ground.

"Nice to meet you Hawky!"

"You too Rabbit buddy!"

The two tamers laughed at their digimon.

"So where are you from Henry; I haven't seen you around Washington before."

"I'm from Japan; Shinjuku to be exact."

"Nice; it must be so pretty there." Henry nodded.

The rain stopped as the morning sun rose.

"Henry!" Terriermon ran up to his partner with smiles."Let's go to the beach!"

"Alright, Alright." He stood up from the table chair in Ayita's house. Ayita grabbed a few towels and handed one to Henry.
