The Twin Wolves and the Fox

Rika walked around the open fields with Viximon hanging from her shoulders. Rika walked up to a cliffside with her camera in hand.

"Rika, is it wise to be up here?" Her ears flatned as she looked down the cliff.

"It's fine Renamon; I just want to get a few shots before I head to the city with my dad." She snapped pictures of the sea and started backing up getting the cliff in the picture as well.

"Rika watch where you are walking!" Rika's foot tripped over a big rock and she fell down the hill. She grunted as she landed at the bottom.

"Rika!" Viximon nudged her partner with worry.

"I'm fine Viximon." Rika examined the gash on her arm from the sharp rocks. Viximon ran to the cottage where Rika's father had been getting ready. She ran in and jumped on his shoulder.

"What the-" He jumped from Viximon's sudden move. He just looked at her with more of a shocked look.

"Your a digimon." She jumped down and pulled his pants towards the door. He ran outside to see his daughter on the ground in pain. She gave him a stupid smile and said,"I uhh fell." Rika's father looked at her shocked.

"You've only been here for a day.... and you've already gone and hurt yourself; what happened!?" He examined her arm.

"Does anything feel broken?"

"No, I just fell and scraped my arm." He shook his head and grabbed a medkit. He wrapped her arm in abandage after cleaning it up.

"Just be careful for the rest of the day." He sighed. They left afterwards towards the city.

Rika watched as they drove to her dad's office. She looked at the building.

"Rika; care to introduce me to your friend?" She looked down at Viximon with a worried look.

"Her name is-"

"Renamon right?" She looked at her father with a shocked look.

"Your mom told me a lot; plus my work knew much about you and your friends." He smiled at her.

"What do you mean your work?"

"I work with Hypnos; an orginization you are familiar with right?"

Rika nodded.

"Well there are some people I want you to meet." He smiled as they parked the car. Rika walked into the building with butterflies in her stomach. She looked at a plaque on the wall that read the name 'Hypnos'.

"Good morning; Ellenore." Rika's dad greeted a small jumpy woman with big round glasses. She looked up at the two and smiled brightly,"Director Nonaka; glad to see you bright this morning!" She then looked to Rika and Viximon with a currious look,"And who might you be?"

"Uhh Rika Nonaka and this is Viximon." Ellenore looked at the girl with a shocled yet excited look,"OMG! You look so much like your father; and your partner is so adorable!" Viximon made a groaning sound as she looked at the woman with annoyance.

"Ellenore could you introduce Rika to-"

"James get in here now!" Mr. Nonaka winced as another woman's voice rang behind him.

"Good morning to you too; Alicia."

He walked into the office without telling Ellenore who to introduce to Rika.

"Uh well I guess I'll just wait out here then." Ellenore looked at the girl feeling bad.

"I have some books or maybe some paper to draw on?" Rika thought about her options.
