The Wedding Planner

(Aquantis' POV)
Today was the day I would officially get everything set in stone. The wedding planner from the day before got a hold of me and she said she was free for today so we would meet with her. I was up around 8 a.m. making sure I knew what I had wanted for the wedding and had examples to show her. I got a folder together with all the stuff I chose and set that on my desk and got ready for the day.

After I hopped out of the shower, I got dressed in some casual clothes and threw my wavy mess into a bun. I grabbed the folder and brought it downstairs with me to the kitchen. When I got there, I heard the tv on in the living room. "Hey mom, I didn't know you were here."

"Yeah, I made sure to have these days off since your wedding is coming up."

"Oh, thanks mom."

"Of course, sweetie, I wouldn't want to miss my only child's big day."

"Ah, mom, don't make me cry."

"Sorry, sweetie."

"It's fine."

I went into the kitchen like I had originally planned and made myself a quick breakfast. While I was eating the doorbell rung and I heard my mom get up to go answer it. "Oh, hi Aidan."

"Hi, mom."

"She's in the kitchen."

"Alright." I heard her close the door and Aidan walked into the kitchen. "Hey babe."

"Hey lovebug, we're meeting the wedding planner today, right?"

"Yeah, she's supposed to call me to let me know where we're meeting her."

"Oh, alright." He sat beside me and took a bite of my food while I decided to give the wedding planner a call. "Hello?"

"Hi, it's Aquantis."

"Oh! I'm sorry, I was just getting things ready before we meet."

"Oh, it's alright."

"Well, I'm actually about done so if you can come to the bakery down Palm St. that's where I'll be."

"Alright, we'll be there."

"Ok, I'll see you soon." She hung up and I slid my phone into my pocket. "Hey Aidan, are you ready?"

"Yeah, I'm good, want me to carry that for you to the car?" He said motioning to the folder.

"Sure, thanks babe." He nodded and I put my dishes in the sink and quickly grabbed my purse from upstairs. I came back down and gave my mom a hug before leaving.

*during the drive*

On our way there, Aidan held my hand as he drove and I noticed the big smile on his face. "Why are you so smiley today?"

"You."

"What about me?"

"You're officially my wife in only about a week and a half."
