The Truth

Trunks POV:

I was so happy to gave her in my arms again. Her blond hair that would just easily flow with the wind, her eyes that sparkle. It's been a year. An entire year that I've been waiting for her. Even I wasn't sure why I would wait that long to wish her back.

Skylar. A single heart beat that sent me falling from the sky. If I had wings they would have been folded in as I dove to the ground to reach out to her for one final time.Not like I would ever have to do that though.

Mine. It's all I ever want in my life. The fights left scars on her skin but I loved ever single one of them. Days that pass by are spent endless hours of training and then holding onto one another for dear life.

But right now we were on the cliffs. The very ones that I had first seen her at. It was my chance to explain everything to her.

"Skylar? I can tell you anything right?"

She nodded

"I just was so helpless without you here. I trained nonstop, barely ate, never got sleep because I feared I wouldn't be able to see you again." I sighed quietly waiting for a reply.

"Trunks...I know I had to stay though. You have to understand. I couldn't have any of you hurt like I was. Never t..." I stopped her by embracing her in a hug the laid a kiss on her forehead.

"Hush...No need for apologies."

She smiled that same old smile I learned to love. Would she always be mine to hold forever?

How's your date dude? Ugh Gohan.

It's not a date.

Whatever. It's a date. Admit it you LOVE her dude.

Maybe I do. Maybe I don't stay out of my business though. I snapped and blocked his voice from my head.

"Never let go Trunks." She whispered leaning in closer and laying her head on my sholder.

"Never shall I let go because I'm to worried that you'll do something dumb again."
