Chapter 6: Elevator boy...

-At the hotel-

We finally arrive at the hotel, which is way more beautiful in person!

We all get out the cab with our bags and head into the hotel entrance.
When we get inside, the lobby was filled with beautiful aquatic pictures and bright, sparkly Chandeliers.

At the front desk there is a big sigh on the wall that says
Welcome to:
Grand fiesta Americana Coral beach hotel.

Wow! Such a long name.

We walk up to the front desk counter to check into our room.

Hi welcome to Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach hotel.
How may I help you?

"Yes, we're checking in"
My father says'

Ok last name?

"Trainor"

The lady begins to type on her keyboard...

Ah yes! You ordered the room with one bathroom and 3 beds? And you'll be staying here for 2 mouths, is that correct sir?

"Yes ma'am"

Ok here are the rules and--

As the front desk lady begins to talk about all the policies and stuff about the room.
I continue to scope around the gorgeous lobby.

I totally have to show Emmy this!

I pull out my phone and take a picture of the lobby. I then send it to her in iMessage with a text message underneath it saying:

We're finally here.
I wish you was here with me though... I miss you💔

I press send and put my phone back in my pocket.

"Come on Meghan!"
Ryan says getting my attention for the elevator'

We all get into the elevator.
My father presses the 20th floor button.
The elevator begins to go up but then stops at the 15th floor to let another family in.

It was a mother, father, sister, and 2 brothers.
One of the brothers were wearing a hood over their head.
I begin to stare at him for some reason?
I'm sure why though?
He seemed different...

Suddenly he looks up at me.

Shit! He caught me...

I give him a sweet smile, and he gives a shy smile back.

The elevator stops for the 20th floor which is our floor.
My family walks out and we  hang a right down the long hallway to our room.

I turn my head back to look at the boy one more time.
I notice his family taking a left down the other part of the hallway. 

OMG!! I think he stays on the same floor as me!
Wait! Why am I so excited?
I don't even know this boy.
But I do wanna know him....
Honestly not gonna lie he is--

"Come on Meghan​ before I close the door on you"
Ryan says interrupting my thoughts'

"Oh sorry...."
I say entering the room'

"What were you looking at out there?"
He asks while closing the door'

"Nothing Ryan, mind your business!"

"Geez I was just wondering"

"Well stop WONDERING!"
I say rolling my eyes'

I walk to where the 3 beds were.
And of course one of them are just for me! Because I'm a glamorous princess.

I jump onto one of the cozy, soft beds.

"All mine!"
I say rolling around on the sheets'

"Umm actually honey that's yours and Ryan's bed."
My mother interrupts'

"WHAT?!?!!"
I yell while sitting up straight quickly in the bed'

"Come on Meghan, it won't be that bad. I promise i won't snore in your ear"
Ryan teases'

I give him a evil stare....

Why me?
Why not Justin?
I'm the one that should have my own bed!
This isn't fair!!!

"Mom this isn't fair! How come Justin gets to have his own bed?"

"Because Justin asked before the trip"

"I didn't even know we were going until the last minute. I don't even wanna be here!"
I yell loudly'

"Meghan lower your voice!"
My father says'

"NO! I WANT MY OWN BED!"

Ryan begins to laugh hysterically...

"ITS NOT FUNNY RYAN!!"
I say hitting him in his arm'

"Meghan don't hit your brother!
This is ridiculous. You are 17 years old, you should not be acting like this."
My mother scolds'

"Yeah meggy! It's just a bed"
Ryan laughs some more'

"Shut up RYAN! No one asked for your to sense."

"Ok this needs to end right now! Meghan just face the fact that your going to have to share a bed with your brother.
And if you don't like it then sleep on the floor!"
My father says'

Silence fills the room awkwardly......

"FINE! I will. Have fun with your stupid bed Ryan"
I say taking a pillow​ from the bed'

After our family drama, we all take turns taking a shower.
When we're all ready for bed, my mom turns out all the lights and says goodnight to us all.

The room is now pitch black...
The only light was the big window in the hotel room,
But it was very dim.

I check my phone and notice that it's 6 in the morning.

Wow that plane ride killed time....

I also notice that Emmy texted back.
She said:
Wow! Nice hotel. I can't believe your 6 hours away.
I also wish I was there with you to Meg. We could have showed Cancun how to really have fun!
-Nantucket style!

I smile at her text message.
Just imagining me and her on the beach together having so much fun, just makes me all happy inside. But also sad Because I know she's not actually here. Even though I wish she was......

I text her back quickly before I turn my phone off.
I put it under my pillow and close my eyes.

I suddenly begin to think about that boy on the elevator earlier.
He was so... What's the word?

Special...

I really don't know why?
Its just that I felt a connection!
Even though I don't even know him or have even talked to him, I can tell he's a pretty sweet guy.

I hope we can hold a conversation soon. Cause that would be so AWESOME!!

But for now, he's only known as for the elevator boy.....
